Maybe I’m watching too much children’s programming, but for some reason this week it is better than ever. Yesterday Neil Patrick Harris and Kim Cattrall were both on Sesame Street, and today Jack Black made an appearance (awesome). Yo Gabba Gabba! had the Shins on yesterday too, and they are one of my favorite bands, super awesome. I’ve love the episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba! that featured the Postmarks, and Mates of State for the Super Music Friend Show, yeah I so wish this show was around when I was a kiddo.
Do your kiddos have a favorite show, that you don’t mind watching too?
I don’t think I really mind watching them. I know, I am strange. But, I usually am reading otr on the laptop while the kiddos are tving…….which isn’t too often.
Their shows are mainly on dvd (Barney, Veggie Tales, Thomas and more Barney). Then we watch Super Why! on pbs and sometimes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Your shows sound like fun! I miss Saturday Morning cartoons like whenI was a kid. We won’t discuss how long ago that was! 😉

I always watched every show that my kids watched. I have an entire collection of Barney and Teletubbies
tapes that we still watch together sometimes. The kids know that I like the barney sing-alongs, so if I’m sad, they’ll put one on. Now the kids like to watch Hanna Montana, Drake & Josh, and icarly, and I watch all of them, too. icarly is my favorite right now.
That’s funny, I just watched Feist this morning on Sesame Street. I don’t care too much for her music, but it was funny watching her count chickens and penguins today lol.
I think I’ve seen Yo Gabba Gabba twice now, it seems to only come on TV when Sam is sleeping. But I like it and Sam loves the songs. There’s a party in my tummy!!!

Thanks Susan! Dylan got a mini Brobee for Christmas from his Uncle, and it is his favorite toy. We all love Yo Gabba Gabba! around here 🙂 Even my hubby will sing the “try it you’ll like it” song at dinner time 🙂
We mainly watch an hour or two of PBS in the mornings, then some videos later. Jake really likes to watch a video when he wakes up from his nap. I saw Neil Patrick Harris too yesterday and told my hubby to watch the show that night to see him on!! Too funny!!!
It has been so cold here, tomorrow will be day 3 of staying inside all day long, ugh! I opened up bags of dried beans yesterday and put them on a dishpan for Jake to play in. Tomorrow I think we will bake cookies and do Play Doh. I really miss the Y. Need to excercise badly!!!

Thanks Heather! I was shocked to see Neil Patrick Harris too, I really liked his song about shoes 🙂 My kids like PBS too, and I love the fact that there aren’t too many commercials on PBS too. Thade seems to want everything that he sees on T.V. 😉
