We got a little bit of snow, and there might be more on the way. Either way it looks like we are going to be indoors most of the day. Dad did take the kiddos out a little bit this morning to play in the snow. Thade had a fun time throwing snow balls at the front door, but Dylan wasn’t the biggest fan of the cold snow.
I thought Thade might have fun making homemade snowflakes since we are stuck indoors. Our snowflakes are made out of Coffee Filters, and Thade did a pretty good job. After they were all finished, he gathered up the homemade snow and ran into the living room, tossing the snowflakes as high as he could. They are a little bit easier to clean up than real snow.
I hope to get in the kitchen today and bake some Bread, and maybe some cookies too. We seem to be out of snacks again… We are still waiting on the hot water to make a return too, we have hot water back in about 1/2 of the house.
I hope that you are staying warm today, and enjoying the pretty snow too.
Is your hot water problem fixed?? The homemade snowflakes look like fun! It has been snowing for a couple hours here also. I enjoyed watching it from my windows while the boys napped. Happy bread making!

Thade liked making the snowflakes, he is going a little stir crazy already, so I am looking for lots of little crafty projects for him to do 🙂
Thanks Nana! Yeah, Dylam wasn’t a fan of the cold at all, but Thade loves the SNOW!!! Thade had fun making the indoor snowflakes and he threw them all over the living room. I hope that you are doing well and staying warm too 🙂
