Sunday was the Daytona 500, and we were all ready to watch the race! James and Thade were hoping for another Kevin Harvick win. Dylan was hoping to see a Carl Edwards back-flip. What about Nico? I was cheering for my favorite Matt Kenseth!
I put my lucky hoodie on, and hoped for the best, and sure enough Matt Kenseth took the Checkered Flag! I was so excited, and James wasn’t too disappointed either, Harvick took second. I think that is a pretty good start to the 2009 season!
That was a crazy race. I figured there was a happy house across town. I got confronted last night at El Charro for wearing my new Jr shirt. Oh well, I am gonna stick with my guy! When my hoodie comes in a few months I will probably wear it all summer long. We can be the nascar hoodie girls together!
Great race. We saw most of it, but not all. Bummer! That comes with having kids in love the purple dinosaur though! 😉

My birthday was a blast, and my family went all out this year. I’m definitely sharing the cakes with a few friends, I wish you were here to have a piece of birthday cake with me 😉
