Monday I was finally feeling better, and had plenty of energy back to tackle the week. Thade was feeling better too, but James and Dylan were just starting to come down with the cold. I was thankful that I had enough energy to take care of my boys, and I was determined not to get sick.
Last night, the cold finally found me. I was up till 4:00 a.m., sneezing my head off, and feeling awful. I was focused on remembering all of the errands that needed run in the morning, and hoping that I would hear the alarm ring. At breakfast, I felt really bad, and I was rushing to get the kiddos out of the door, and get Thade to school on time.
I needed to run to the store… I couldn’t remember where I put my list (wonky preggers memory), I made it home from the store, and that was when I remembered that I forgot to send Thade an item to school for show and tell. I feel like a bad mommy today… a bad mommy with an evil head-cold.
Oh my goodness Nico!!! You are the farthest thing from a bad Mommy!!!!!! You are a WONDERFUL Mommy! Keep your chin up, colds are gross but they can’t beat you down that bad!
Awwww…..I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well! Hugs to you and wishes for feeling better soon!
Prayers for a quick recovery! Hugs!!!
I hope you are feeling better today! Take it easy!
Thanks Shaunna! This cold is kicking my butt! I’m glad that the boy’s are all feeling better though 😉 I can’t wait for the weekend, and this cold had better be out of here!
Thanks Ellie! I know that with Thade in school he is bound to bring home a cold bug or two, I’m just happy that he is feeling better though. I’m hoping that this cold is short-lived, and is out of our home soon!
Thanks Marva! I hope that you and your family are doing well too. Sending big-non-cold hugs your way too 🙂
Thanks Mimi! Thanks for the well wishes, I’ve been trying to rest as much as I can, and the boy’s are doing a lot better. Dylan never really did get the cold, but he is cutting 2 molars, so he isn’t too happy about that.
