Homemade Gifts

I was busy sewing all last week to make a few handmade Birthday gifts for my Mom. She visited us yesterday, and my Mother in law too. We all had a fun time at Thade’s T-Ball game, even though it was really really really hot outside 😉 After the game we came home to have some tasty birthday Chocolate Bundt Cake.

I had it all planned out in my mind that I was going to make 5 reusable grocery totes and a cloth gift bag too.  I was shopping with Dylan yesterday and I spotted the mini rabbit cookie cutter that was just too cute to pass up. I thought it would make a cute “tag” on the gift bag.

Thade picked out the purple canvas for the bags, and I really love the middle pattern, it is teeny tiny daisies.

My very favorite has to be the ribbed white polyester, I know you are thinking polyester, but it is just so cute. I embellished the corner with a few buttons, and I just love how the bag turned out. I’m making one for me soon 🙂

  1. Thanks Nana! I’m so happy that you liked your gift 🙂 The white bag was my very favorite too! Thanks again for all of the buttons, I can’t wait to embellish a bag for me too! Happy shopping 🙂

  2. Thanks Ellie! They were so fun to make, and I can’t wait to get back in my “shop” and sew a few more 🙂

  3. Thanks Susan! Thade helped out with the sewing, and it was a fun and fast craft to make. I hope to get a few more done for me, so I can take them shopping 🙂
