Happy St. Patrick’s Day Everyone!
No pinching these kiddos today, my boys are all dressed in green and Thade is super excited about St. Patrick’s Day today. I wish I had a green meal planned, but I doubt that the kiddos would eat it… I hope that everyone has a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Happy Green day to you too! My hubby is Irish so the boys and I bought ingredients today at the store for his fav supper. Corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes.
Now for the energy to cook it!
I wanted to tell you that your break from fast food has made me more conscious of when I drive thru the Golden Arches now for the kids lunch. We really try not to spend money on lunches during the week but sometimes it’s unavoidable. Today I bought the juice boxes ahead of time at the store and we got away with just a cheeseburger for me (1.00) and nuggets for the boys. I can’t beleive how much the nuggets cost now(1.89)seems like everytime I go the price increases. ugh!

Thanks Nana! I hope that you have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day too, enjoy the yummy green treats for us too. I hope to get out this afternoon, we are taking Shaunna some homemade mashed potatoes, and we might go for another walk when James is home from work. It is really nice to see the warmer weather!

Great tip on saving at the drive thru too. Drinks for everyone can add up fast, and I bet your boys enjoyed the Juice Boxes just as much. I agree the fast food prices are just getting crazy! The boy’s are really starting to miss their favorite fast food places, but we are over 1/2 through the month, and I think we can make it.
