Full Friday

I know it’s Thursday, but I’m actually looking forward to Friday. There is an elementary planning day tomorrow, and I’ll have all of my kiddos home, and we’ve got a busy day planned.

My guys will be up early anyway, so I’m planning on taking them to the Donut shop for donuts and chocolate milk, while Agnes is napping we are going to vote for the nickelodeon kid’s choice awards, Thade can’t wait. I’m thinking about taking the kiddos to the Lenten Fish Fry that is just down the street for lunch tomorrow, I thought that might be a cool outing. We are also visiting the Library, I’ve been here 6 years, and I’m just now getting around to finally getting a library card (bad nico).

Thade is really busy reading so many books for Ready Set Read, and I thought that hitting up the library will get him to his goal of 100 books. He just completed his 60th book, and his original goal was 50. I’m so proud of my big kid!

If the weather (and Agnes) are cooperating, we might go and tour the Fort. The weather is supposed to be in the 70’s tomorrow, and an afternoon out and about downtown might be fun.

So what about you? Do you have any big plans for a fun Friday, or for fun-filled weekend?

  1. What fun! Can I come for a visit! LOL

I wish we had a donut shop close by…the nearest one is an hour away. I need to take the boys to the library. That would be fun! A fish sry would be delish if John and i were not on this diet! 😉

I hope you all have a blessed weekend and I can’t wait to see pics!

  2. Sounds fun Nicole! We have a fun weekend planned too…Friday is date night and then on Saturday we are taking a little road trip to go see our daughter who is in college…we are going to be hitting up an air museum that hubby has wanted to see forever and then out to lunch. Sunday our other daughter has a soccer game. I hope the weather holds out and doesn’t rain 😉

  3. Thanks Marva! I was thinking of you and your Mom too. Hope you are all doing well. By the way you are always welcome here 🙂

I’m so happy to have the kiddos home for a day off from school. The boys love to run around town, and Thade can’t wait to visit the library.

  4. Thanks Ellie! It sounds like you have a fantastic weekend planned! Enjoy your date night and have a fantastic time with your girls too.

The weather is improving a bit here, and the kids can’t wait to get out of the house.
