Mid-Summer I started a Homemaker’s Journal filled with cleaning routines, shopping lists, and menu plans. I stuck to the chopping lists and menu plans, but the cleaning routine just wasn’t working. I’m working on a schedule to keep up with it all. I have a small daily to do list, but there is a lot that needs to be added to the schedule. Here is the old set of Daily Chores:
- Feed and Water Cats A.M.
- Feed and Water Cats P.M.
- Put away Clean Dishes
- Wash Dirty Dishes
- Wash at least One Load of Laundry
- Make Breakfast
- Make Lunch (hubby is usually home for lunch)
- Make Dinner
- Clean Kitchen Surfaces A.M. and P.M.
- Get the Coffee-Pot ready for Tomorrow (very important)
With Dylan crawling, and trying to eat everything off the floor I need to add:
- Sweep Kitchen A.M. and P.M.
- Sweep Dining Room A.M. and P.M.
- Vacuum the Living Room 2-3 times a Week
- Clean the High Chair as needed
- Put away yesterday’s laundry
- Clean off the Dining Room table daily
- Clean the Living Room daily (pick up the toys, wipe surfaces)
I’m sure that I can think of a few more things to add to the list, and I’ll keep you posted on how the progress is going. Wish me luck on my new Homemaker’s Journal 😉
You are so organized! I wish I could be more like you nico! I need to take some lessons! Great job!
