The sunshine has made a return, and we are thrilled to see it. Today we are going to be busy outdoors all day. There are so many Halloween activities going on this weekend, and the boy’s and I are going to go to as many as we can.
This morning we are going to do Creepy Crawly Crafts at the Community Center. There will be face painting, crafts, and maybe even a snack or too. Thade already wants to get a spider painted on his face.
This afternoon we are meeting Shaunna and Sheldon downtown for a mini-parade of Halloween costumes and Trick-or-Treating at local businesses. Dylan will be a little Tiger, and Thade will be our fearless Iron Man.
We are baking a batch of Spooky Halloween Cupcakes this afternoon, and making a few batches of Sweet Tea too. My Mother in law and Sister in law are visiting today too. I can’t wait to give Jill a big hug!
This evening, we have a super fun local tradition to go to. This evening we will be riding the “Haunted Trolley”, and taking a local Ghost Tour. We went 2 years ago, and it is so much fun, and not too scary.

Aw, I miss doing stuff like that with my kids. The big kids are too ‘cool’ to do that stuff (I’m rolling my eyes) and the little one is still too little.
We have a ghost tour here, I’ve always wanted to do that. I should look into that!

Thanks Susan! This is the first year that Thade has been really into all of the Fall activities, so he is pretty happy to go along. Dylan is still a little for the crafts, but he has fun just being out around town.
We love our Ghost Tour, it is fun, and not too scary. If you take your family on your local Ghost Tour, you’ll have to tell me all about it 🙂
