Yay! I cut way back on my driving for the month of November. I didn’t drive eight days out of the month, and I’m hope to make it 10 for December. Let’s see how the month goes.

Good for you! That’s awesome! I am doing horribly- running out in the evenings for things when Hubby gets home to watch kids. I sure miss the warm weather- today is dreary and cold here. I have to shop for dinner guests tomorrow! I’m excited to have people over and share a meal. They have a daughter same age as Jake.
Any hints on prepping the lasagna ahead of time???
Yeah, my friends dropped off the table today! Just in time for my guests tomorrow! I’m going to look for a holiday tablecloth tonight when I got out for supplies.
Thanks Heather! Your dinner party sounds like it is going to be fun 🙂 I hope that you find a great table cloth for your new table. I know Jake will have fun too, that is great that he has a friend to hang out with at the dinner.
We are missing the warm weather here too. It is cold cold cold, and very windy. The kiddos are hoping for snow, Thade loves to have snowball fights!
Your dinner sounds yummy too! I have never been brave enough to attempt homemade Lasagna, but I hope to make it one of these days. You’ll have to give me a few pointers 😉
I mostly go by the recipe on the back of the lasagna box, adding more herbs. I wanted to put some Ital. sausage in, but found it to be too expensive at the store. I”m stressing out over the appearance of my apartment. Trying to calm down and get done as much cleaning as I can today. Oh- I made strawberry pretzel salad for dessert! YUM!
Ok so I was going to comment on what I do to go green, but now that lasagna is on the table…lol…I will have to share one of my recipes with you! It is really easy and not as pricey as some recipes. I cook my noodles and brown a pound of hamburger. I miss the hamburger in with a jar of spaghetti sauce and about a cup or so of cottage cheese. Then I just layer the noodles, some meat mixture, then shredded cheese. Then again and again. Pop in the oven and cook for a bit. We probably don’t leave it in as long as ought to since we are pigs. No one goes hungry on lasagna night at our house!
Thanks Heather! I hope that you are doing well, and having fun getting ready for your dinner party 🙂 Your Lasagna and Strawberry Pretzel Salad sounds so good 🙂
Thanks Stacey! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Your Lasagna recipe sounds great. I really need to give your Homemade Lasagna a try 🙂
Yes, Stacy’s recipe sounds much simpler than mine- I appreciate that! I did add the Ital sausage, tried a local grocery store and found ground hot sausage! It really made the dish tasty!! Sipping wine and unwinding- Heather
Thanks Heather! Your evening sounds like a good plan to me. I could use a nice evening of unwinding, I’m super stressed out at the moment (well I should really say for the month).
How was your party? Your dinner sounded so good 🙂
