One of the activities this weekend was “Creepy Crawly Crafts” at the local community center. Our neighbors were helping out with the event, and I thought it sounded like a great activity for the boys. Thade couldn’t wait to get there, so we went a little earlier than I had planned. When we got to there, the place was packed with kids! There was well over 100 kiddos busy making crafts, snacks, or getting their face painted.
I let Thade lead the way, and we made it to a few of the tables.
We got to make Treat Bags, and decorate pumpkins too. Thade loved the buttons the best. I have to agree, they were so cute. Thade even got a scary spider painted on his cheek.
I thought the pumpkins would make cute decorations for our lamps. I think that Thade is going to take his to show and tell sometime this week.

Those pumpkins are so cute!! That’s great your community planned such a fun activity for the kids! The buttons reminded me of a summer when I worked as a crafts instructor at a camp and every Sunday when the campers came in I had to make them buttons for their names. I bought the paint yesterday for the black spider craft- will let you know how it turns out.
Wow! That’s looks like so much fun…..glad to hear you had a great time 🙂 Ellie
