Christmas Eve

I don’t know if Thade can wait one moment longer. Christmas is almost here, and as you’ve probably already guessed I’m so not ready.

Today will be a busy day in the kitchen for Nico. James is also planning on taking us out to lunch at a new restaurant that just opened, and I can’t wait. Today I think I’ll be baking all day, there is a Peach Pie to be made, and Vanilla Glazed Apricot Thumbprint cookies too, and a Chocolate Bundt Cake for tomorrow’s dessert, and if there is time 2 loaves of Homemade Bread. I had better get to it!

  2. Merry Christmas Nicole!!! Enjoy your lunch out! That sounds so fun! Hubby is getting home a couple hours early today so I am thrilled! Now to get the boys down to nap- they are fighting it big time! how do you keep your boys from opening up the presents under the tree? We wrap ours and hide them in the closet till tonight!
Do you have any traditions for Christmas Eve? We will go to church at 7 and then get home and put boys to bed.

  3. Thanks Heather! I always look forward to a little break from the kitchen 😉 I hope that your kiddos take a nice long nap for you, I know my boy’s are so excited for Christmas, it is hard for them to rest too.

The boy’s were pretty good about staying out of the presents, but the kitties wanted to jump in all of the gift bags, so they were in trouble all the time 😉

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! Sending big hugs your way 🙂

  4. Thanks Ellie! I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas too. Sending big hugs your way!
