Today I woke up with a really yucky migraine, and here is my list of to do’s
today:
* Clean the litter box
*Sweep and swiffer the utility room
*DISHES!!!!! wash and put away clean dishes (the dishes are taking over the kitchen)
* Wash 3 loads of laundry
*Put away 3 loads of laundry
*Pick up downstairs
*Take out the trash
*Make a couple of phone calls, and balance the checkbook
I hope to get a shower in there somewhere too.
My list is huge today. Laundry, dishes, cleaning, making a shopping list, cleaning Thade’s room, cleaning the utility room,taking out the trash. Too much to do, and I really can’t figure out a good starting place.
I did fix my computer, after four frustrating days. I was really happy about that, so I’ve been catching up on balancing the checkbook, and answering e-mails. Unfortunately non of those things were on today’s to do list. Oh well, I guess that is what tomorrow’s to do list is for.
I really need to get some home improvement projects done. I need some motivation to start them and to finish them too. I need to clean out the flower beds outside(way too hot to go outside right now), I need to paint my closet(way too hot to paint upstairs), and I need to finish the quilt that I am making for Thade(not enough patience for quilting today). I guess I’ll just try to get dinner on the table, and start on that “to do list” tomorrow.
I’m still unpacking, and cleaning, and washing dishes that have been in boxes for the last two years. I am so behind. Yesterday I remembered that I haven’t gotten anything for my mother, or my mother in law for mother’s day, not even a card. I’m usually right on top of these things, but not this month. Too much to do, and only one nico to get it done.
The day started extra early, maddie(the little kitty) came in and woke me and Thade up at 6:00 a.m. This is I think the fifth or sixth day that I have been up at 6:00 a.m. due to maddie. The good part is that I am completely finished with everything that I need to do before noon. I’m almost used to it, but I would still love to sleep in a little longer. The rainy weather has come back, and we are once again under a tornado watch. You gotta love springtime in Kansas. I’m off to start dinner, while the little one is still sleeping.
