Just a few minutes

Both of the boys are down for a nap. Thank goodness, this has been quite a demanding day, mostly from the three year old. Thade has been in quite a mood today, I’m blaming the bad mood on a growth spurt (maybe). Dylan has been nursing more too, growth spurt also. Dylan is already wearing size 3-6 months in clothes, and he is just over 2 months old. He is getting so big already.

I’ve gotten a few things done while I have a couple of moments to myself. I just washed my second load of laundry, put away 2 loads of laundry away upstairs, stocked hubby’s office fridge, and got a jump start on dinner. I made pasta salad, and German Chocolate Caramel Cookies. Super yummy!

Back in Business

Thank goodness the water is back on this morning! Today I’m playing catch up from last night, so i have a lot to get done today. Here is the plan for today:

* Wash and put away dirty dishes
* Put away 3 loads of laundry
* Wash and fold 4 loads of laundry
* Take James lunch, if he is stuck at work today
* Wash all bedding (didn’t get that one done yesterday)
* Focus cleaning room -Stairway- dusting, Swiffer vacuuming, etc.

I think the laundry is going to take up most of the day. Better go and get started.

To Do List Today

Yesterday I did pretty good with my to do list. I even got the living room vacuumed (this morning). Here is what I have planned for today:

* Clean the utility room top to bottom again
* Go to the post office
* 5 loads of laundry (didn’t get any done yesterday)
*Wash and put away clean dishes

Hopefully I’ll get a few things done today.

Embracing the early morning

I’m really not a morning person, at all. I would love to sleep in past 10:00 a.m. if possible, sadly all of my boys are morning people. This morning Dylan was up and ready to eat at 5:45 a.m., James was up by 6:00 a.m., and right at 6:30 a.m. Thade decided that he was ready to get up too. No sleeping in for me today.

I decided to take advantage of the lack of sleep, and bake some double-berry muffins this morning. They smell super yummy, if they are good, I’ll share the recipe. I’ve already gotten a pretty good start on my to do list, so here is what I have left to do today:

*Feed and water the kitties 2x
*Wash and fold 3 loads of laundry
*Get all of the bedding together for the laundry tomorrow
*Wash and put away clean dishes
*Call the bank and hospital
*Make a shopping list and go to the store
*Clean the utility room (again)
*Today’s room to clean in my homemaker’s journal:Living Room (vacuum, dust, etc.)

I’m going to go and eat some breakfast while Dylan is resting for a little bit.

Spring Headaches

This morning I woke up with such a headache, it must be the weather, or the super high pollen count. Hopefully my meds will kick in soon and I’ll feel up to getting a few things done around the house. James is off work for the next three days, so I hope we’ll be painting a little too… Here is what I am hoping to get done today:

*Wash 3 loads of laundry
*Put away 6 loads of laundry
*Wash and put away dishes
*Clean up the backyard
*Finish painting the bottom half of the dining room
*Finish painting the upstairs hallway

Shopping was on the list, but I got that done yesterday. This weekend there is also a little festival downtown, so we’ll probably take the kids if the weather is nice.
