Well we made it through the first drop off at day camp, and I had a hard time, but not Thade he did great. We were a little early, and Thade got checked in and his name tag on, and he made a buddy right away. He was coloring so I made my escape, but not without a hug… Thade was ready for me to go, and told me that he met this kid that liked Spider-man and it was o.k. for me to leave. Dylan and I walked back to the car, and it was so strange without Thade tagging along too.
I needed to run snacks to James at work, and I was glad to have the errand to run. I was a little sad, but I knew that Thade would have a blast at Day Camp. James thought I was a little silly, I was watching the clock like a hawk just waiting for the pick-up time. I decided to take Dylan to the grocery store, and I was thrilled when my phone rang reminding me to go and get Thade from Camp.
I was a little early (about 10 minutes) so I snapped a quick pic of the Day Camp Site. When Thade (finally) got out for the day, he was all smiles, and had an art project to show off too. He really lovedย Day Camp, and he can’t wait for Wednesday! I’m so happy that he had fun, and it looks like a great Summer program for him to be a part ofย ๐
