So I had all 3 kiddos bundled up like this.
The snow kept on falling and the temps kept on dropping, and thank goodness they canceled school.
So today Thade looks like this…
And my day looks pretty much like this…
If the temps keep on falling, I think we’ll have another snow day in the near future.
My Mom came to visit this weekend, and keep an eye on the kiddos while I caught up around the house. I really appreciated the help too, I’ve been a little behind on housework lately. On Friday the weather was amazing, so we headed off to the park with the kids.
The boys had a great time running around the park, and Agnes caught a good afternoon nap too.
The cold weather has returned today, but we are really thankful for the warm days that we had in November.
I’ll be taking the kiddos Christmas photos this year, and I’m practicing getting some decent pics of the kids. Here is what I’ve learned so far…
It is impossible to get 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time.
Sometimes you can get 1 out of 3 kids to look at the camera.
My kids are way happier goofing off in front of the camera!

The last week has flown by, and we are settling into a new routine around our house. Thade is staying busy at school, and James is back to work, and missing his kiddos. I’m keeping up around the house with the little ones. Agnes is doing well, and sleeping a ton. It makes me a little nervous, the boy’s never slept, so it is really strange to have a newborn that loves to sleep. Dylan has taken on the role of big brother, and he is really enjoying being a big kid, and not the baby anymore.
I’ve set a goal to nurse Agnes for at least 6 months, but this time around it isn’t going as well as I hoped. She has a check-up later this week, so I’ll hopefully get some good advice from our family Doctor. The boy’s seemed to eat around the clock, but not little Agnes… I’ve become one worried Mommy this week.
I’ve been trying to take it easy around the house, but I’m feeling pretty good. I’ve got a post-op check-up today, so we’ll see what the Doctor says. I hope that it goes well, and the kiddos behave too. It is going to be a long day…
Today I got the call from the School Nurse that I needed to go and pick up Thade. I was worried that he had gotten sick at School, and then she said that he had been hurt on the playground. He had a large bump on his head, and he was really upset. He was feeling fine though, but he burst into tears when he saw me.
When we got home he was so upset, and James and I were worried that he was really hurting. Then Thade said “I want to go back to School, I don’t want to miss anything!!!” Bless his heart, this kiddo loves kindergarten, and he doesn’t want to miss a moment of it.
