From Start To Finish

Last night Agnes graduated from preschool. There was an adorable program, complete with graduation certificates. Agnes had the best time, but I can’t believe that she has already completed preschool.

This school-year has been the fastest so far. All three kids are entering new schools next year, and all three kids will be in school full time. There will be so many new changes, and schedules to adapt to once August arrives.

Kindergarten Round-Up

I can’t believe that this day is here already… This morning I took Agnes to Kindergarten Round-Up, and got her enrolled for school.

She absolutely loved it. She was full of confidence, counted to one hundred and ninety, and promptly came home and drew a picture for her new teacher. She can’t wait to start Kindergarten in the fall.

I’m still not ready… But I am so very proud of her.

Preschool Treats and Gifts

Last week Miss Agnes was in charge of snacks for her preschool. I needed something healthy to make, and I wanted to use what I had on hand at home. We decided on Oatmeal Muffins for the kiddos.

I doubled the batch. It made enough for the class, and for the teachers too. Everyone liked them too.

So while I was baking, I got to thinking about the Christmas party at preschool next month. I’ve been trying my best to stay ahead of the holidays this year, so maybe I won’t be so stressed when they finally arrive.

I need to have twenty-one little gifts for the kids. I also need to make three gifts for the teachers. I decided on crocheted scarves for the teachers, and handmade ornaments for the kids.

I crocheted twenty-one little granny-stars in assorted colors. I think they will do the trick for the little preschool gifts, and they were very budget friendly too.

Preschool Picture Day

A bit ago, it was time to choose an outfit for preschool pictures. Agnes was ready to tear through her closet and try on every single dress that she owned.

I told her to choose between three…

She finally decided on the last one for picture day!

She will have school photos again in the Spring, that means more outfits.

The First Day Of Preschool

I can’t believe this day has arrived. It is Agnes’ first day at preschool. She was so excited, and she couldn’t wait to get to school.

She was up early and ready to go. She had already picked out her outfit for today, and for Friday too.  She was a little nervous, but ready to go meet her teachers, and make some new friends too.

She is going to the same preschool that the boys went to, and I’ve already been asked to help out on Friday. It is such a fantastic school, and I know she will love it.

We took the boys to school, and Agnes happily went too. She was all smiles, and anxiously waited her turn. She said hi to her teachers, and ran right over to meet some of the kiddos. I went to give her a hug, and she game me a big hug back. I told her I would see her in a few hours and to have an amazing time.

She didn’t even shed a tear… Surprisingly, neither did I. I went to visit James at work, and the I headed home. James told me no chores, and to take the morning off and enjoy some much needed free time. It is strange though. This is my first time that I have been home without the kiddos in over ten years. It is quiet, but different… I really hope that her first day of preschool is fantastic. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
