March’s Favorite Photos

March flew by… There was a lot going on all month long. It was a really fun month though, and I have lots of photos to share.

We decorated Easter eggs, had fun on Spring Break, and tried a few new recipes too.

We celebrated Dylan’s birthday, and he lost his first tooth too.

Agnes has kept me on my toes, she is one busy little gal.

The boys got to go to music camp, and we all enjoyed the performance.

We kicked-off Spring Break with some treats from the ice cream truck. It was warm and sunny that day.

On the first day of Spring we had a little outdoor project. By then the weather was getting awfully cold.

We had snowstorms and thunderstorms, and a few warm days too. March weather is always a bit crazy around here.

On cold days we stayed in and kept busy. I finally learned how to make granny squares, and I started yet another project.

I went to the boys parent/teacher conferences. They are doing well in school.

We enjoyed a few pretty Spring flowers too.

The kitty started doing much better in March too.

He is a fan of the yarn, and the chilly weather too.

February’s Favorite Photos

I’m a little late with this post, it has been one busy month already. February was fun, but it went by way too quickly. We had lots of snow days home from school, and fun days to celebrate too. Here are a few of my favorite photos from February.

Thade was in the Spelling Bee this year. He did a great job.

He also loved the snow days at home too.

Dylan had a blast playing in the snow too.

Agnes got flowers from Dad for Valentine’s day. She loved them!

She took this one herself.

One snowy day, we stayed indoors and kept cozy.

Another snowy day, the kids couldn’t wait to get outside and play.

Agnes’ Valentine’s Day flowers, they were so pretty.

I got flowers from my hubby. They were beautiful.

I made Red Velvet cupcakes for my birthday. They are my favorite birthday treat.

Dylan made a sweet Valentine for Agnes.

I spent many cold days and evenings crocheting Thade’s afghan. I still don’t have it finished.

Snowy scene from my neighborhood. We had a big snowstorm, and the snowflakes were huge.

I finished all of the crochet work on Dylan’s afghan. He loves it.

We still have pretty daisies in the window from our Valentine’s Day bouquets.

The pup got out in the snow a bit. She was pretty happy playing indoors though.

The big cat had to go to the vet. He wasn’t too happy about the road trip.

He has finally fully recovered from his injury, and he is feeling so much better.

March will be busy too. Spring Break is almost here, and it is almost time for Dylan’s birthday too. I hope to get lots of photos this month.

Snowed-In (Again)

The snow started a bit earlier than it was supposed to yesterday. When it was time to get the boys from school, the heavy snow started falling like crazy.

The kids were pretty sure that school was going to be cancelled again on Tuesday. I think we ended up with 8-10 inches of snow, and thank goodness school was called off again.

They couldn’t wait to get outside and play!

The snow was perfect for throwing snowballs, or building snowmen too.

Happy Snow-Day everybody!

So Ready For Spring

I am tired of the cold…

I am tired of being cold, and stuck in the house…

I’m ready for warm days,

pretty flowers,

and time spent outdoors.

Please hurry Spring.

January’s Favorite Photos

I didn’t get too many pictures during January. I think we were all under the weather the entire month. January was fun though, we celebrated Thade’s 9th birthday with family and friends. Here are a few of my favorites from January.

I can’t believe that our big kid is nine. The time is flying by way too fast.

Dylan is already planning his birthday party. It is well over a month away, but he is really excited.

The tiny miss and I are ready for Spring. We need to plan a day trip to visit the local nursery and look at the pretty plants.

I finished my first crocheted afghan in January. I also started another one.

We picked a warm Winter day and took a much needed road trip. It was great to get out of the house for a bit.

I neglected to get a photo of the big kitty, but here is one of the pup after her bath. She is growing too, and she isn’t such a little pup anymore.
