September’s Favorite Photos

Usually I am a bit earlier in the month with this post, but October has gotten away from me. September was a busy month, and I didn’t seem to get too many photos… I do have a few favorites to share.

Thade was anxious to get to the book fair. All of the kiddos got to pick out a few books, it was fun.

Dylan was cleverly crafting icky mustaches. Oh this little guy…

Agnes has been making lists, and drawing lots and lots of pictures.

In September we had a fun girls day with Grandma. We went to lunch, and did some yard sale shopping too. It was a blast!

My boys.

Our Okra finally bloomed. Okra blossoms are one of my very favorite blooms.

I’ve been working on lots of crochet projects.

Our little indoor plants are doing well. A few need to be replanted again.

I’ve been reading up on Succulent propagation, and I think I’m going to give it a try. I’d like to have some succulents to plant outdoors too.

September we visited lots of yard sales, and a new favorite spot to antique too. I added lots of pictures to the wall under the stairs. I still have a little room for a bit more.

I added a few more pieces of vintage Pyrex to the kitchen too.

With the weather cooling off, I’m keeping warm with crochet. I want to make a few more blankets for the downstairs. I would also love to finish the blanket that I’m making for the upstairs too.

I think the big kitty is happy to see the cooler weather too.

August’s Favorite Photos

I didn’t seem to get too many pictures taken in August… It was a busy month, and the boys started back to school too. Maybe I’ll do a bit better in September.

I can’t believe that my big kid is in the Fourth Grade this year. He is growing up way too fast.

Dylan was all smiles on the first day of the First Grade.

He was anxious to get back to school.

Agnes has been helping me water the plants in the front yard. She loves to help.

The poor little gal was so sad, when we had to say good-bye to our tree.

The first day of school was a bittersweet one. Agnes was missing her brothers before lunch-time.

My hubby and I got a day in K.C., and I got to spend time with my boys!

I spent the all-too-hot Summer afternoons crafting in the foyer.

We had an awesome time in Kansas City!

Rob took us to a Chiefs & Packers game at Arrowhead Stadium. We had fantastic seats, and we had the best time too.

Thanks again Rob!

It was good to get away for a bit, but it was nice to come back home too.

Home is where my messes and pets are…

This pup was in need of a bath.

I did get to see this little cutie at my brother’s house. He is probably the sweetest kitty ever!

I missed my kitty . Even though he won’t let me work on my crochet project.

kitty-nap 🙂

Settling In

This week has been nice…

We’ve been staying close to home and catching up on chores and crafts. The quiet days have been nice. Agnes really misses the boys while they are at school though…

July’s Favorite Photos

This has been one crazy month already, and I am way behind on my posting. I took lots of photos in July, and the month flew by way too quickly.

Thade has grown so much this Summer.

Dylan has too. He is so ready to go back to school, he can’t wait to start the first grade.

Agnes has been busy playing all Summer.

We’ve checked out some local sites.

We’ve played a lot in the sprinkler too.

I’ve kept busy crafting, and staying in when the weather is just too warm.

The pets have been keeping cool too.

We are just a few days away from the start of school. In some ways I’m ready, and in others I’m not. I think it will be good to get back to the routine, and I’ll have lots of back-to-school pictures to take too.

This Week

This week has been a stay-at-home-catch-up on neglected chores week… I’ve been doing lots of cleaning, gross cleaning, pet bathing, serious floor scrubbing, and trying to keep up with all the other usual stuff.

It has been a long week, even though we’ve only been at home. This weekend it is supposed to be cooler, so maybe we’ll venture out of the house for a bit.
