Not Just A… Dish Drying Rack

I haven’t done one of these posts in quite a while, so I thought I would bring it back.

This week I bring you not just a dish drying rack.

Whenever I pick up produce at the store, I wash it as I’m putting away the groceries. I run a sink full of water so the fruits and veggies can soak a bit while everything else is getting organized. Once they are nice and clean, I let them dry on the Bamboo dish drying rack that is always on my counter-top. The fruits and veggies dry super fast, and look pretty cute while they are waiting.

One More Reason to Buy Ice Cream

Those handy paper bags make some pretty cool Transformer feet for Thade.

Dylan prefers to squish the bags, or take them for a stroll in the living room.

I like to save them for future shopping trips at Aldi, but I don’t think these bags are going to make it to the store one more time…

Little Boxes

I have all of these cool little containers from Dylan’s Baby Food. I like to use them for extra snacks in the Diaper Bag, and to organize all of my beads and findings. It is a fun way to reuse plastic containers 🙂

Snacks for the Outing

I love to organize my Diaper Bag with Ziploc Bags. They are so handy, and if they get anything icky on them, or in them, you can toss them. Today we have a few errands to run, and we are going to be out or quite awhile. Today I’ve packed a few snacks for the boys to keep them happy.

I have one bag of treats for Thade, and another bag of treats for Dylan. I also place the Ziploc bags in my bag, so I can grab them with just one hand. I’m always carrying Dylan with the other hand. Now if I could just figure out a way to pack along a up of coffee for Mommy, I’d have enough energy to get all of the errands finished 😉

Don’t thow it away…

I hand wash all of the dishes, and on Mondays I like to swap out the old dish sponge for a new one. I don’t toss the old one out, just yet. I keep a cute container under the kitchen sink filled with old wash cloths and dish sponges that can be used again to clean up around the house.

The wash cloths are perfect for dusting, cleaning electronics, and scrubbing windows. The old sponges are great for cleaning around the toilet, scrubbing down the shower, or tackling any other icky cleaning jobs that I have to do.
