No voice, but I can type

Well I still have my cold, and last night my voice disappeared. Oh well, at least I can still type 😉 Dylan has been really funny about it, he  knows it is mommy, but anytime that I speak he starts crying. I hope my voice is going to be back this afternoon, I’ll be drinking plenty of hot tea until it returns.

Walgreens Run :)

I love Walgreens! They have great sales, and our local store is rarely too busy. I can get in and out of the store in twenty minutes, have a full cart, and spend very little. Yesterday I only spent $14.08, here are the great deals that I came home with:

  • 2 packages of Necco Mary Jane’s Peanut Butter Kisses for $.20
  • 2 packages of Brachs Caramel Candy Corn for $.20
  • 3 Walgreens Orange Sodas for $2.37
  • 3 Deer Field Farms Vanilla Cream Soda for $3.87
  • 2 Boxes of Kleenex Tissues for $1.99 ($1.78 ea at Wal-Mart)
  • 1 5lb bag of Domino Sugar for $1.99
  • Walgreens Cashews for $1.99
  • Betty Crocker Chocolate Icing for $.49 (I used 2 coupons to get the great price)
  • 1 13oz Folgers Coffee for $1.99 ($3.18 at Wal-Mart)

Grand total with tax $14.08! I had $6.39 in Walgreens sales items and coupons. I was super happy with my great finds 🙂

Whats On

Having a night owl has me up at night surfing the channels. Right now I’m watching the TLC show Kids by the Dozen. Every week the show features a new story about a family that is raising 12 or more kids. It is fascinating to see their everyday lives.

One of my favorite things about the show is  seeing  how the families keep the kitchen stocked, and the shopping trips for a super-sized family. I can barely keep up with my little family. I can’t imagine what it would be like to keep up with twelve, or more.

Turn Back the Clock

Did you remember to turn your clocks back one hour last night? I didn’t, so one more thing to do today. Daylight savings time completely messes with me, and it takes me a good week or two to get used to the changes. It didn’t seem to bother the kids though, they were both wide awake at the new 7:00 a.m. They are not too fond of sleeping in 😉

What about you… Do you have trouble adjusting to the time change? Which one do you prefer the Spring Time Change, or the Fall?
