Almost Finished

I’m finally all caught up on the dishes! I also only have 2 loads of laundry left to go, and I’m all caught up there too. The Living Room toys are another story, it is a little hard to organize while your toddler digs out everything as you are picking up. The toys and clutter are driving me crazy, I need to get the room cleaned up and in order soon. I might have to sneak downstairs late, or wake up extra early to get the cleaning job done.

This afternoon I plan on baking a batch of Banana Muffins some for the freezer and some for snacks. My Hubby has offered to go and pick up Subway for dinner, I think I might just take him up on the offer, no need to dirty up more dishes today 🙂

Still Iced In

My hubby reported in that the side streets are a sheet of ice, and in terrible condition today. It looks like we are going to spend another day indoors, time to think of some fun things to do with Thade, he is moping around the house today. I’ll be working on cleaning my closet (again), and de-cluttering and organizing the Living Room. We have way too many toys downstairs, and I need to get a system in place to take care of all of the clutter.

I also hope to get all of the dishes washed and all caught up today too. And then there are those 4 loads of laundry that need put away upstairs, and those 3 loads that need washed, it looks like another day of catch-up work 😉

Are you iced/snowed in today, or is the weather better in your neck of the woods?

A Little Tired

I am so tired this evening, and I still have two boys that need baths… We made it to Walgreens for the great buy on the diapers and a few other necessities. We also went to Wal-Mart for groceries and to get my car in and see what was going on with the tires. It was about a 2 hour walk around the store with the kiddos, and my very helpful Thade demanding to push the cart. It turned out to be nothing wrong with the tires, and they thought that the low tire pressure might be due to the fluctuating weather that have had. So $19.00 and no problem, but at least it wasn’t new tires that I needed.

Both of the boys were exhausted by the time that we made it home, and Dylan took a nice long nap. I got in the kitchen and made Oatmeal Muffins for hubby’s breakfast, and Homemade Chicken & Noodles and Mashed Potatoes for dinner. It is so much fun to make Noodles from scratch, but the kitchen is a little messy now. Oh well, the mess can wait until tomorrow 🙂 Let’s hope that the kiddos sleep in tomorrow morning!

I Think I’ll be Cleaning All Weekend

Even Superheroes must do laundry!

Yep that’s Spiderman helping out with the laundry, he was folding washcloths 😉  Thade has this habit of bringing me his Superhero Helpers wherever I’m cooking, folding laundry, washing dishes, or cleaning. He always says that they are “helping out too” 🙂 It cracks me up!

This weekend I’m finally feeling better, and there is so much to catch up on. Laundry(putting away and washing), Dishes(way too many),  both bathrooms need cleaned, and there is that grocery list to tackle too. The weather is so nice today, so if there are any outdoor errands I had better get them done soon 🙂 I hear my little Dylan, I guess those chores will have to wait a little bit longer…
