More Warm Weather

Wow November is completely rocking in the weather department. It is going to be 68 today and 75 tomorrow. I really should go out and rake the leaves in the front yard, but I think they look pretty just where they are…

The weather has been very warm, so not all of the trees around have changed yet, but I did snap a few pics of some very pretty ones.

How is your Autumn weather this weekend?

70s Today :)

I’m very happy to report this, the weather today is supposed to be great with the temperature in the 70s! I had better take advantage of the great weather and get the kids out to play. Thade is ready to go out and stomp on all of the fallen leaves.

The nicer weather also gives me a little more time to shop for space heaters for the upstairs. I’m looking for three, at a good price. I see lots of online comparison shopping in my future 🙂

Turn Back the Clock

Did you remember to turn your clocks back one hour last night? I didn’t, so one more thing to do today. Daylight savings time completely messes with me, and it takes me a good week or two to get used to the changes. It didn’t seem to bother the kids though, they were both wide awake at the new 7:00 a.m. They are not too fond of sleeping in 😉

What about you… Do you have trouble adjusting to the time change? Which one do you prefer the Spring Time Change, or the Fall?

Classic Car Show

My hubby called me today and told me about an Antique Car Show happening a few blocks from his work. My boys and I like just about anything to do with cars, so I gathered up the kids and we headed out to look at some pretty sweet rides. Thade and Dylan had a great time, and I did too. The weather was perfect, and it was free to get in to the Auto Show (can’t beat that).

Thade and I had fun picking out our favorite cars, I liked a baby blue Buick, and he liked the Rally Car because it could drift, maybe 😉

Walgreens Opens!

I am a huge Walgreens fan, and today our local store finally opened! I couldn’t wait, the boys and I went shopping this morning. I went a little over budget 😉  I ran in to some great deals, I found toddler training toothpaste 2 for $3.99, and Milk was $1.00 cheaper than the local grocers. The toothpaste was a bargain I could not pass up. Thade also got a new toy, he has been helping with Dylan and doing extra chores around the house.

We took our time and walked the entire store. The store was very well stocked, and surprisingly not too busy. Everyone was nice and helpful, and encouraged the use of coupons 😉 The pharmacy looked great too, and no giant line to wait in. I’m switching over my prescriptions to Walgreens. I think I’m going to save a lot of time and money shopping my local Walgreens.

I’m also happy to see new business in our little town, and one more place to compete for my shopping dollar. Now if we can just get an Aldi and Arby’s we’ll be all set.
