Happy 4th Birthday To Our Darling Dylan

It’s hard to believe that today is Dylan’s 4th birthday.

055

Dylan is our blond hair-green eyed little cutie.

0052

He is a busy little guy that loves to help out anywhere that he can.

032

He is a wonderful big brother, and an adorable kid-brother too.

0093

He has the longest lashes I have ever seen on a child,

0182

and he is our super sweet little snuggle-bug too.

0183

Dylan has an inquisitive mind, and his own unique take on everything, and that is what makes him Dylan.

Happy 4th Birthday to you Dylan!

0076

We love you so very much.

Squee!

A favorite game of the kiddos…

0042

The boy’s go on one side of the door, and make faces at the little miss.

005

She screams and giggles as loud as she can.

0081

She is a happy camper though, and they are all playing together, even though it is really noisy in here.

Spaghetti Fingers

When you are three years old, this is a perfectly acceptable way to eat spaghetti…

013

You should have it all over your face, and your fingers, and even your ears too.

014

You shouldn’t eat those black olives…

015

No, they are way more fun on your fingers.

017

018

020

And when you have big pretty green eyes, Moms not going to tell you no anyway.

Snowed In Again

We had a tiny break in the weather, and Thade was able to go back to school on Monday and Tuesday. Dylan was still stuck at home on Monday, he was still feeling sick. At pick-up time yesterday the snow arrived again.

0101

And it kept snowing,

011

and snowing,

0132

but finally just before lunch the snow tapered off.

0141

School was canceled again too, and I think this makes 9 snow days for us in the last 2 months. I seriously doubt that school will be back in session tomorrow. Dylan was really bummed, he was finally feeling better, and anxious to go back to pre-school, but it was closed too.

So to cheer up the little guys, I thought that chocolate cupcakes and chocolate milk were in order.

0022

They were yummy!

0033

And really messy,

0041

and I think they cheered up the grumpy little guys just a bit.

3 Christmases

This year I had planned for one Christmas celebration with all of the family, but we ended up having three. It was really fun though.

On Christmas day it was just the five of us, and it was great, even though we were still feeling a bit sickly from the flu.

028

The big kids have this present-opening-thing down.

030

They tore through wrapping paper as fast as they could.

031

Even the Little Miss tried her best at tearing apart the red wrapping paper.

036

All of the kiddos (James included) loved the Yo Gabba Gabba! tent. It was really cool, and has become a hide-out in the boy’s room.

037

I got some pretty rad gifts from my hubby. He is the best.

When it was New Year’s eve Grandma joined us for some more holiday fun. The kiddos couldn’t wait to see her.

005

Oh yes, there were more gifts to open, and two bouncing boys that were having a blast.

039

The Little Miss was getting better at opening gifts too.

058

We had a fantastic afternoon filled with food, fun, and lots and lots of presents. We had to call the evening short though, snow looked like it was moving in, and we wanted to make sure that Grandma was home before the weather turned.

New Year’s Day we had one more Christmas celebration. This time it was with Nana and Uncle Rob.

060

The kiddos were beyond excited to see Uncle Rob, and Nana too ( now I’m going to be in trouble) Just in case you didn’t know, he is my super-rad brother.

061

More presents, and the promise of Wii, Thade was a happy-camper.

062

Dylan was all smiles.

067

Agnes loved her Hello Kitty blanket from Uncle Rob. It is so cute, I’m asking for one for my birthday.

068

We had a fun day, and ended up hanging out in the dining-room catching up over tasty goodies, and laughing about everything.

Thanks again to all of our family for such wonderful holidays! Love you all!
