There were a lot of circulars in the newspapers last week, and every one of them was about Father’s Day gifts. I had the boys sit down and circle their favorites.
They had a good time too shopping for Dad. I think with the boys help we have a pretty good plan for Father’s Day gifts this year.
The kiddos grew up way too fast…

Now Agnes is running, and getting into everything.
The school year flew by, and I’m so happy to have the kiddos home for the Summer.
One of my latest goals is to get myself back into some decent form of shape, so I’m walking as much as I can. We have a great walking track in our town, and the little kids are happy to go along for a stroll too.
We walked last Thursday, and it was chilly, and it looked like it could rain at any second. I let Dylan carry his umbrella around the track, he was so happy.
The Little Miss doesn’t mind the wind though, she loves to ride along in her stroller.
I’m looking forward to next week, and I hope to make it to the walking trail at least 5 times. I don’t know if the weather is going to let me though.
Dylan was so excited for his 4th birthday, he says that now he is officially a big kid.
He opened presents early in the morning,
and he was even sweet to share his new found presents with his siblings.
We had a fun Trolley ride planned, and the a little party in the afternoon too.
Dylan is quite a pro at opening gifts.
Thade was there to help, just in case.
We had cake pops and cupcakes too, and a lot of fun celebrating Dylan’s 4th birthday.
He is way happy to be a big kid now.
We wanted to surprise Dylan for his birthday, and one of his very favorite things about his hometown is the Trolley. We thought it would be cool to take him, and the entire family for a little tour, and it was a blast.
It was a rainy cool day, but Dylan couldn’t wait to board the Trolley.
Our moms made it just in time.

The Trolley ride is almost an hour long. You get to tour the town, and learn about the history of Ft. Scott.
There are a lot of neat sights to see,
and I always learn something new on every tour I take.
I love viewing the homes,
and businesses from the Trolley’s windows.
The trees were just starting to bloom,
and we passed a few of my favorite homes in town.
Dylan loved the trolley ride too, and so did the grandmas. It was such a fun day to spend with my family, and to celebrate a sweet little guy’s birthday too.
