One More Under The Weather

Last night Dylan ran a fever, and he has come down with the cold/flu/yuckiness. I kept him home from school today, and I hope he is feeling better tomorrow. This cold/flu/yuckiness seems to be over pretty quickly, but those fevers are miserable.

Dylan really misses school. He was so upset when I told him that he wouldn’t be able to go this morning. He hopes to be back tomorrow. I hope he is too, it is no fun seeing my little guy not feeling too good.

Dylan’s 6th Birthday

When it was Dylan’s birthday, it happened to fall on a school day. He was excited, we checked with his teacher to see if it was alright to bring cookies. Dylan also wanted to take cookies to the office too. Agnes and I walked Dylan in, and helped him deliver the chocolate chip cookies.

Once Dylan was in school, Agnes and I got to work. We wrapped presents, made a birthday cake, and some homemade ice cream too. We were planning a little family party for Dylan after school was out.

Agnes always misses her big brothers when they are at school.

Once Dad was home from work, the party could begin.

It was a fun party for our little guy. I still can’t believe that he is six already. He is growing up way too fast.

Dylan Lost His First Tooth

I think this tooth was loose during the Christmas break. Saturday was the day though, Dylan finally lost his first tooth.

Dad and Thade helped him too.

He was so excited. He couldn’t wait for the tooth-fairy to visit. He even went to bed early.

I just love that little grin!

Fun Days

Between Agnes’ birthday, our anniversary, and Halloween, we have been extra busy over here. It has been fun celebrating all of these awesome days.

Agnes turned three!

She was so excited to open presents. She opened them first thing in the morning.

James and I were celebrating our 11th anniversary that day too.

Later on in the day, we had the family up to celebrate too.

It was so awesome getting to spend time with everyone. We had a blast!

A few days later it was Halloween. It just happens to be my very favorite holiday.

We picked up James at work, and we went to Dylan’s school Halloween costume parade.

The parade was early in the morning, and it was a little chilly.

Dylan the cowboy was looking adorable.

In the afternoon we headed to Thade’s school to watch their costume parade.

It was crowded!

We found a good spot to watch the parade.

The parade was moving fast. I think I only got one single picture of Thade.

As soon as the kids were home from school, they were ready to go trick-or-treating.

We waited till it was almost dusk, and we headed out to walk around our neighborhood.

We walked around our neighborhood, and then we walked around a bit more.

The kids had so much fun, they didn’t want to come home.

It was time to go home though. We had lots of candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters too.

Later on we watched a movie, and we checked over all of the candy.

What  a fun couple of days.
