I’m finally finished with the new and improved living room curtains. Thank goodness! I’m so happy to have another project finished, and off my to do list. The curtains turned out great, and really changed the look of the room.

I still need to make curtains for the dining room, but luckily I already have the fabric picked out. Hopefully it won’t take me 11 months to get another sewing project finished.

So we bought our house many many months ago, and today I finally found a fabric that I liked for the living room curtains. It only took about 11 months for me to find one. I’ve got one window finished, and I should have the other window finished tomorrow, hopefully. I’ve also got to clean the house, my in-laws are in town this weekend, so I had better spruce up.

Maddie (cat) is doing much better, he is mad whenever I have to give him his meds, so he is back to his old self. Speaking of Maddie, I had better go and give him his meds for the night. There is always something to be done around here.

I’m still snowed in, and trying to tackle little projects around the house. Next up is making new curtains for the living room, ours are a little dated. I found a fabric that I thought that I would like for the curtains, but maybe not. My mom suggested buying a small amount and making pillows for the couch. I made two pillows today, and they turned out really cute. I don’t know if they will end up being curtains, but I see many more throw pillows in my future.

Thade is wide awake coloring in his new coloring book, and I am watching the Busch Race( GO HARVICK!!!). I’ve been wide awake since 7:00 a.m., but I’ve been really tired all afternoon. It has been a pretty lazy weekend so far.I’ve been slacking on my housework, but I got the dog watered and brushed. We ran out late and picked up dinner, I think it is way too hot to cook. I only got one blanket finished today, so I still have six to finish. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get a little more done, or maybe not.
