We are going a little stir crazy around here. We have been snowed in since last Friday. The roads seem to be a little better today, but it is bitterly cold. I have been cleaning, and getting lots of chores done.

Thade has been asking to go to the park, and shopping, but it is too cold and icy to do anything. His birthday is coming up soon, and I’m trying to get everything planned for it. He will be turning three. I had better get to shopping(online), and figuring out what to bake.

I am so tired. Thade hasn’t had a nap today, and I am hoping that he will get to sleep soon. We have to go to the store early tomorrow(trying my best to beat the summer heat), so I’m trying to get some extra chores done this evening. I finished painting my woodwork on one wall, and primed the woodwork on another wall to paint tomorrow. I think I am finishing up load #7 of laundry today, but I kinda lost count. I still need to clean the kitchen, and take Dakota(the puppy) some more cool water, and then I better be done for the day.

I hope that Thade sleeps through the night, and I get a good night’s sleep too. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

I’ve started painting the woodwork this weekend. Well so far I only have a little bit primed, but I’m really happy about it. I finally feel like I am putting myself in the house. We have so much more to do, but at least I’ve got a pretty good start.

I have been busy spring cleaning my outdoor garden this week. My flower bed isn’t that big, but I think I have taken around 8 bags of leaves out. The weather has been so nice, but today it is rainy, so I probably won’t get anything done outside. I’ve got to run to the store for milk, and to look at mulch for the outdoors. So much for taking a day off.
