October Projects

Well last month I didn’t finish as many projects as I had hoped. I’m moving a few of them to October’s Project List, and I have a few new ones to add too. Time to get to work Nico πŸ™‚

  • Paint the Dining Room!!! Get prepared for the Holiday Entertaining Season!
  • Paint my Closet
  • Clean and organize the Boy’s Closet
  • Clean and organize the Utility Room
  • Start my Christmas sewing projects

I’ve got an entire month to get my projects done. Don’t forget toΒ  check back in and see how I’m doing πŸ˜‰

September Project Check-In

The month is rapidly coming to an end. Sadly I have not made a dent in the projects that I was going to get accomplished. The boy’s closet remains untouched, as does mine. The utility room is a giant mess, and I’ve just run out of time.

I did manage to get the foyer cleaned and decorated πŸ™‚ I also cleaned out the pantry in the kitchen. I wiped down all of the shelves, and lined them with waxed paper for super easy clean-up. I organized all of the canned goods, and started a recipe box. Its a start, just a little one.

I might have to move September’s Projects to October’s Projects πŸ˜‰

September Project Check-In

I’ve finally finished cleaning and decorating the foyer. I have to admit this room was a bit of a catch all, and dumping ground for just about everything. This is also the first room when you walk in the house, and the first room my hubby comes home to after a long day of work. I was tired of it being a mess. I wanted a nice and peaceful room to sit and hang out in. I used only what I had on hand to decorate, and I didn’t bring in any new pieces of furniture.Β  Continue reading »

Kitchen Destruction Time!!!

I’m still feeling stressed out from yesterday, and what is the best way to get rid of some stress… Demo out the ugly wallpaper in the kitchen! I grabbed my trusty hot pink blade and step ladder and got to work. It is going to take a while, and I’m going to need my hubby’s help. The ceiling is pretty high, and well Nico is pretty short, and very accident prone. I see pretty painted walls in my future! πŸ˜‰ Back to the destruction.

September’s To Do List

This month I have decided to get a few projects (that should have been done a long time ago) finished. I’m using only what I have on hand, and trying hard not to purchase anything new for redecorating. With a whole month, I hope to get these projects completed:

  • Clean and organize the boy’s closet
  • Clean, organize, and paint my closet
  • Clean and decorate foyer
  • Clean and organize kitchen
  • Clean and organize utility room

I’m going to be tagging unused items for a garage sale. Its funny now that I have two boys with lots of clutter, I want to live in a minimalist home πŸ˜‰
