I was out running around town yesterday, and I noticed that all of the holiday decorations are already up downtown, and the Christmas lights were already on at night. I haven’t even gotten my tree down from the attic, or thought about decorating. It seems like the holiday season comes earlier and earlier each year. This year I’m doing my best to stay ahead of the game, and have everything done early. This is the first year that I’m going to attempt to not last minute shop! I’m usually a last minute person when it comes to anything Christmas related, but I’m really trying to break that habit. Well I guess we will see what happens.

Feeling more like November
It never fails, the day that the errands must be run, the weather is freezing outside! But we got them all done, and the little guy got a late nap. We are still doing all the final items and getting all the business taken care of at the former house. I still don’t have my Christmas shopping done, but I got a pretty good start last night. Oh well tomorrow is another cold day, and a good day to stay inside, and shop online!
Trick or Treating with a Tiger
Last night my husband and I took our little boy trick-or-treating, it was cold, rainy, and a lot of fun. Our son was dressed as a little tiger, and he came complete with a loud roar. We only made it a few blocks, and our little tiger was a shy tiger for most of the time, but it was fun for all! I had about 10 trick-or-treaters come and visit our home, so I still have a ton of candy left! I’m still trying my hardest to get the Christmas shopping done today, but I don’t think that it is going to happen. My lists are made, but I have a few things to do before the shopping can begin.
Missing My Deadline
I don’t think that I am going to make it. My Christmas shopping deadline. Tomorrow is Halloween, and I was trying my hardest to have my shopping done by Tuesday, but I don’t think that it is going to happen. I have a huge sink load of dishes waiting for me, and a few loads of laundry with my name on it. My lists of gifts are almost all done, but my shopping isn’t. Wish me luck! Happy Halloween to all!
I need holiday ideas!
My little guy is watching Barney for the moment, so I have a moment to spare. I’m trying so hard this year to reach my goal of being done with Christmas shopping before November rolls around, but its already half way through October, and I haven’t started. I’m stuck on what to get the grandmother’s… They never say what they want, and I never seem to get what they need. That reminds me I need to call and get my son’s Christmas portraits taken! There is always something that needs to be done.
