Today I have to clean!!! I sat around and slacked on the couch yesterday and got nothing done. I barely got the kitchen cleaned in time to cook dinner, the laundry is piling up, and there is wrapping paper everywhere. We had an early Christmas celebration on Sunday,it was lots of fun, and nice to break up the holiday. Our son got lots of new toys (that need to be programmed),lots of hugs, and cookies to eat. My husband and I had fun opening gifts, and taking pictures. But oh the mess that was left behind… I couldn’t even get started yesterday, I kept thinking I know that I need to do something, but where to start. So today I must clean and get my house back in order, and get ready for the next Christmas celebration. And then clean again.

Six Days To Go
So I’m kinda freaking out at the moment. Sunday we are celebrating the first of two Christmas Celebrations. I haven’t even gone grocerery shopping, and I kinda have my list together of what I am going to make, and I haven’t even started cleaning the house. So I’m a bit stressed out, and even though it is Monday, Sunday will get here sooner than I think. My little guy has been grumpy the past few days and he has started waking up again in the middle of the night, and its 5:00 p.m., and he is just down for a nap, so I didn’t get too much accomplished today. I’m making my “to do list” to keep myself on track, I wish there was a space on my list for me to take a nap too. Oh well, off to figure out what to make for dinner, and fold my fifth load of laundry for today.
All I want for Christmas is Make-Up
I’m going through a strange phase in my life. I’ve been slacking on myself for the past two years, and I’m finally starting to take a little more time for myself. I’m actually attempting hairstyles, and trying to find clothes that look better. Maybe it is because I’m only around boys, all of the time (even my two cats are boys), but all I want for Christmas is Make-Up. It sounds so silly, I’ve never really been that much of a girly-girl, but it is true. Girly stuff is all that I am asking for. Well that and a car, so I can go shopping for all of the girly stuff that I might not get for Christmas.
Finally Finished
Yep, I’m finally finished! I finished all of my Christmas shopping yesterday. I didn’t make my deadline, but this is the first time that I won’t be running to the store on Christmas eve ever. I’m just starting to decorate for the season, and I got some cute dishes for Christmas dinner. I guess I had better start wrapping presents, and get my dinners planned.
One down One to go
Well we made it through the Thanksgiving holiday, and Christmas is coming up next. We are celebrating Christmas a little earlier this year, so in three weeks I’ll be cooking my butt off in the kitchen. I’m a little more at ease with the holidays this year. I guess I’m just more prepared. Well kinda, I’m still not all finished with my shopping. One thing at a time.
