The little guys were ready to go Trick-or-Treating this afternoon, so we headed off to dad’s office. We stopped by a few other places while we were out too. Thade came home with a little bit of candy, and Dylan was ready for a nap. I hope the weather holds out this evening, it is getting cold already.

I’m so excited today, Halloween is finally here. This is by far my most favorite holiday. I love the costumes, handing out candy, and I can’t wait to take the kids Trick-or-Treating! I think we are going to go by hubby’s work today, and get an early start on the treats.

Halloween hasn’t happened yet, but it is already Christmas at our local Supercenter. Today as we approached the entrance of the store I could see a giant Christmas tree where there were costumes just last week. Thade spotted the tree too, and then the questions started, is it Christmas, and where are my presents.
I was there to get a costume for Dylan. I know I’m so last minute, but until today I hadn’t found anything that I really liked. I went through the last rack of costumes, hoping for the best. I lucked out and found an adorable “baby calf” costume. I think it is fitting, since Dylan is a big milk drinker at the moment 😉
Thade is getting really excited about tomorrow, and is ready to get his costume on today. I hope he can make it until tomorrow.
Last weekend was busy, busy, busy. On Saturday James and I celebrated our sixth anniversary, and he surprised me with a dozen long stemmed red roses. They are so beautiful, after six years he is still full of surprises. We exchanged gifts, and I was so happy to receive one of my favorite shows “Coupling” on dvd. I got all four seasons. With the late nights that I’m pulling, I’m very happy to have some great dvd’s to watch 🙂
We also drove the boys by the church that we were married in, and we went out to lunch and a movie too. It was so nice just having a day together, we’ll have to do that more often.
Today is my hubby’s birthday! So a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JAMES!!!! If you get a chance head over to ChessandPoker.com (hubby’s site, and a link to his blog) and wish him a Happy Birthday too 🙂
I’m making one of his favorite meals tonight: Turkey, Stuffing, and Mashed Potatoes. I think there might be a little birthday cake left from yesterday too. I hope the rest of his gifts make it today 😉
