Just a simple gallon of Milk please

I decided to try and make a really quick trip to the grocery store today, and that was a pretty bad idea. I just needed a few items: milk, bread, you know just the little stuff. The store was sooooo packed, my little trip took forever! My little one was very good, and took the time to say hello to everybody, and launch almost everything out of the shopping cart. The longer I was there waiting to get in line, the more I thought to myself, I really don’t want to come back here ever, so I had better get a few more things. Better safe than sorry, better grab those cookies, oh yeah and a magazine too. Anyway we made it through the craziness, and the little shopper is down for a late nap. Better go and wrap those last gifts, and get caught back up with the celeb gossip. Happpy Holidays, and a Very Merry Christmas to all!

Back to the Vet’s Office

I feel like I’m living at the vet’s office this month. My oldest kitty is having eye problems, so today he has to go in for a check-up. I’m worried about him, and it isn’t too fun hanging out at the vet’s. Hopefully he will be alright, and I’ll have good news to report back. We still have lots of snow, and my little boy likes to look out the window and say “snow”, and “BRRRRRRRR”! It is so cold outside, so I had better bundle up Loki and myself, and be off to the appointment.

I hate my hair today!

I am having one of those days where I am really hating my hair. It is at an in between stage, it is too short to do what I want it to do, and too long to look cute. My husband is on vacation for the rest of the week, and I’m thinking about making an hair appointment tomorrow and getting it all cut off.

my hair is no longer purple

I’m a little sad, my hair is no longer purple. Its back to boring brown, so I’m in desperate need of a different hair color. Maybe blue or pink. I don’t know yet, but definitely something other than brown.

New Kid in Town

I’ve lived here for seven months now, but I still feel like the new kid in town. I’ve moved three times in the last six years, so I guess I’ve been the new kid in town for a while then. This time seems different though… The people are different, and having an 18 month old at home makes it a little tough too. Hopefully when Fall gets here, and the weather is bearable, I can get outside and go to the park more.
