That’s It, I’ve Had It!!!

Twelve days in the shop, a new battery and my car was finally home. I was happily running errands yesterday, and feeling so much better that my car was back up and running, today it a whole other day. On the way to taking Thade to Day Camp , I decided that since the weather was awesome, I would roll down the windows. I rolled down the boy’s windows, and then on to the driver’s side, but my window made a funny noise, and the window sank to the bottom of my door. Yeah, it’s stuck there!

I checked the mail, and received a recall notice on another car part that needs repair, and a statement saying make an appointment with your local dealership for the repairs, and that’s it I’ve had it with my car!!!!!

11 Days

Today makes 11 days since we gave the car dealership the keys to my car, for them to fix it. Oh I am so mad right now! I really have no idea just hat they are doing, or even if they have figured out what the problem is, or if they have even looked at the stinkin car. James has been talking about possibly getting another car for me,since this is the 3rd time this car of mine has broken down. I’ve spotted a mini van just across the street from the dealership that is for sale, and at a pretty good price too. We’ll see though, I’m sitting anxiously by the phone, and waiting waiting waiting…

The Bad With the Good

While Friday night was amazing, it didn’t come without its pitfalls… We had decided to take my car up to Kansas City, and I had a few errands that I needed to run before my Mom got here. I already had a full tank of gas, and I thought I would run out for snacks for the kiddos, and then we would run to Wal-Mart to rent a movie or two. I loaded up the kiddos and we picked up snacks, and then we were off to Wal-Mart. We got our movies, and made our way back to the car, and then something that really made me mad happened. My car wouldn’t START!!!!! Seriously I just got this car back “fully repaired”, and it has to freaking die in the middle of the Wal-Mart parking lot, oh what a mad Nico I was.

Thade was really upset, but James was on the way to pick us up. When James arrived, we cleaned everything out of the car, and locked it up tight. Now I needed to make a quick trip to the car dealership again, and believe me I wasn’t too happy about it!

So determined to make it to Kansas City and have an awesome night, I quickly adjusted my attitude, and put my hope that the dealership would get my car repaired, and quickly. We had so much fun at the show, and we made it home before it was too late. When we got home,  my chin started itching, I figured I had a mosquito bite, and I wasn’t too worried. As the night went on, my chin started to really hurt, right where my mole is (my mom calls it a beauty mark, that cracks me up).

The next day my chin was itching like crazy, and my mole had swollen over the night. When my Mom saw it, she said that doesn’t look right, and I’ve seen that mole since you were 10. James also thought that my chin looked a little funny, we decided a trip to Urgent Care was in order, so he watched the boy’s and I headed to the hospital.

It wasn’t busy at all, and I got in to see the Doctor quickly. No sooner had I said that my mole really hurt, she looked right at me and said, that mole looks super infected, and it needs to come off and it needs to have a biopsy as soon as possible. Great, I was a little freaked out, but they are going to get me in to see my Doctor on Wednesday. I don’t know if she will remove the mole then, or if she will schedule the removal for later. I’m thinking about having another mole taken off as well, before this other one starts acting crazy too. Just another day…

My Car Might Make a Return Today

Keep your fingers crossed. I heard from the shop today, and another item has been added to the much needed repair list, but my car should be back this afternoon! I hope so, I feel really bad about having to bum rides off of my hubby.

So far it is the oil pluneum that shattered thanks to a very clogged catalytic converter, and both items need replaced. I hope and pray that this will be the last of the car repairs for quite awhile, so does James. I think he has about had it with my car!

From Bad To Worse…

Do you ever have one of those days where you probably just should have stayed in bed all day… Today has gone from bad to worse.  I woke up with an awful head cold, and I had a busy day to get to. I’m going to be out of town tomorrow for a MOPS meeting, and I needed to get everything ready for James and the boys. This involved a trip to the store, and a lot of work around the house.

I was breezing through the dishes, and feeling up to getting to the store. I got the kids ready and we headed out the door. We got to the car, and that was when I noticed that I couldn’t find my key, everything else was there, but my car key was missing. I called my hubby, and he headed over to bring me his set of keys. I felt really silly that I had lost my key, and he gave me a hug, and then he was on his way back to work.

I got the kids back in the car, and I put the key in the ignition, and that is when something terrible happened. I heard this loud POP, and my car DIED! I got it kicked over, and it was racing really fast, so yeah I’m having car problems once again, and I am so mad, grumpy, sad, and furious!!! This is turning out to be one of those days!
