Last night I was still sick with a migraine. The pain woke me up about every two hours, and this morning my head still hurt bad. James took one look at me, and said that’s it, and we were off to Urgent Care.

I should have gone earlier. I ended up with a shot in each hip, and a migraine plan if this happens again. I instantly felt better, and I could move my eyes again. Twenty minutes after the shots, and the pain had finally broken. I crashed out about an hour later.

I slept for most of the day, but my headache (migraine, cluster headache) is gone for today. Thank goodness…

This week’s compound headache started on Monday… It is still with me today. Sometimes it is just a stress headache, sometimes it turns into a migraine, and this week it is a five-day compound headache.

So when I’ve got those, my days become unproductive throw-away days. I try to rest when I can, and take it easy on the house upkeep. Compound headaches are no fun, and unfortunately nothing that usually helps the migraines, helps this evil headache.

I’ll just wait, and hopefully feel back to normal next Monday…

I was planning on posting some pictures today, and I have one little guy who is crazy sick with an evil, evil tummy-bug. Long night, and looks like a long day is ahead of me too. I really hope that everyone else stays well…

We are still without hot water… I’ve got several calls out, and no returns. At least I’m getting extra exercise carrying buckets of water upstairs.

I’m off to go on the great Quarter search, and get to the laundromat later today. Here’s hoping that maybe just maybe we’ll get a call back today…
