It is a cold and rainy day outside. Thade and I have already run to the store, post office, visited daddy at work, and picked up the dry cleaning, all before lunch time. I got him in the house, and then I had the pleasure of unloading the car just as the rain started. Oh well, we got lunch, and I’m just now getting started on today’s laundry, it is only noon and I’m beat. Guess I should get going, hubby will be coming home soon, and I need to figure out what to make him for lunch.

Nap Time
Thade is finally down for a nap, the house is so quiet right now. I’m almost caught up on all my housework, and once he is up, we’ll get out and run a few errands. The weather is so nice today, and my car really needs gas, and a wash.
We went to visit my mom and brother on Saturday, and we had lots of fun. We shopped a lot, and I got Thade some really cute spring clothes. Thade was pretty good for most of the day, but by the sixth stop he was really tired. It was good to get him(and me) out of the house.
Almost 100%
We are almost all back to healthy. I am feeling a ton better, just a little sleepy. My little guy is back to normal, the house is a big mess, and I am trying to keep up with it all. Hubby is better too, and very busy at work. It is hard to catch up, I have severely neglected my housework. I could be doing laundry right now, but I don’t think that will happen, not when there is leftover cake in my fridge. Cake now, cleaning tomorrow.
Late night and I’m still awake
This afternoon, I had to do the dreaded run to the grocery store. I’m so bad about putting that one chore of till the very last minute, or until we are completely out of milk. My husband got off work early today, and he volunteered to watch the little guy while I shopped. It was so nice, I got to comparison shop, instead of grab and go shopping just to save time. I got to walk the aisles and plan out meals for the next two weeks, instead of entertaining the little guy, and struggling to unload the cart at check-out. I cooked dinner, and did all of my evening chores, and I still have energy. That little break really helped, and the little one napped the entire time that I was away.
Tire Troubles
Yesterday was the day that I really didn’t want to do anything at all, even though it was really nice outside. But we all know that just isn’t the way that things are going to work out. I had a low tire, and I needed to stop off for air, I wanted to go out while the weather was the best, and that was when the little guy decided to take a much needed nap. He proceeded to sleep for about 2 1/2 hours, before I knew it, it was 4:00 p.m. He woke up and we finally headed to the gas station. I aired up my front tire, and switched on the car only to still see “low tire pressure”, so I got out again, and noticed the rear tire was the one giving me trouble. We were just a few blocks from my husband’s store, so a quick trip over there to tell him about the nail that I had run over, and then back across town to get the tire patched.
We made it to everyone’s favorite store, you know that discount place that has everything. I got out the stroller, and got the car in the tire shop. We walked, and walked, and walked. I had forgot to bring a sippy cup with me, because I had assumed a short trip to the gas station only. I had enough suckers to keep the little guy happy. I finally heard my name called, and one patch was all that the tire needed. Thank goodness.
Today we have to go to the Doctor. It is time for a check-up for the little one, no shots, but I know that he will probably still be grumpy. I’m trying to get all of the things together that I need to take care of today, post office, dry cleaning, etc. I just hope that today is a little easier than yesterday.
