Today is going to be busy

Today is going to be one busy day, and I’m still feeling a little under the weather. Its time to gather up some energy and get going. Here is the plan for today:

  • Shop at Wal-Mart (we are out of everything at home)
  • Shop at Walgreens (sale on Kleenexes 2 @ $1.99 much needed item)
  • Dylan’s Doctor appointment @ 2:00 p.m.
  • Put away 4 loads of laundry
  • Stock James office fridge
  • Empty Upstairs Waste Baskets
  • Empty Downstairs Waste Baskets
  • Take out the trash
  • Fill the pet food bins
  • Change the  litter-box
  • Clean out the Fridge
  • Wash dishes and put away clean dishes

I hope I can make a dent in today’s to do list. I’m also taking both kids with me to the Doctor, so I hope that Thade will be good. Wish me luck 😉

Walgreens Run

Even though we were sick I had to get the boys out to the store. We ran to Walgreens for a few cold and flu essentials. I ran in to a few great deals while I was there. Walgreens is offering $2.00 off Nutripals Bars or Nutripals Drinks with an EasySaver catalog coupon. I also had a $2.00 off coupon for Nutripals Bars or Nutripals Drinks, I combined the two coupons, and saved $4.00 🙂 The regular price for the Nutriapals Drinks (at our store) was $5.99 using the 2 coupons I only paid $1.99!

I also picked up a Walgreens Warm Steam Vaporizer for the kid’s room. It was $12.99, and has a rebate in the EasySaver Catalog for $5.00, not a bad deal at all. Also in the EasySaver catalog there are several offers  for $10.00 off Space Heaters (various brands),  I’m sending  hubby to see which ones we should get.

Lists and More Lists

I didn’t get the shopping done yesterday, so I’m working on my local shopping list today. I’m putting the finishing touches on my November Menu, and making a To Do List for everything that I need to get done around the house this week. I’m also planning on making a run to Aldi (maybe today) to stockpile some pantry items, so I need to make one more list. It sounds like a lot of list making to me 😉 It helps me out though, I’m a little forgetful.

What about you, do you make lots of lists too?

Not all of my errands were finished :(

It is still raining, and a balmy 49 degrees 😉  so I decided Wal-Mart is just going to have to wait until tomorrow. I did make it by the Post Office, visited Hubby at work, and went to Walgreens. After the Walgreens trip I thought it was too cold to have Dylan out so we headed home.

I bought a few extra items at Walgreens to get me by until I can do a big Wal-Mart run. I grabbed a 1/2 gallon of milk,  baby food ( 3 for $3.00), and rice cereal for Dylan. I was carrying Dylan in the Snugli, and at check-out Donna volunteered to help me with the groceries. She was such a sweetie, and so nice to go out in the pouring rain. I really appreciated all of the help. Continue reading »

Rainy Monday

I swear I pick the most awful time to get all of my errands done. Today it is raining and freezing outside, and we are out of all of the important necessities in the house. The shopping must be done today, I don’t know how much longer the last box of tissues is going to hold out.

Here is the plan for today:

  • Shop at Walgreens
  • Shop at Wal-Mart
  • Go to the Post Office
  • Bills and Balance Checkbook
  • Phone Calls for Hubby
  •  Empty all waste baskets (upstairs and downstairs)
  • Take out the Trash
  • Clean out the litter box (super-yuck)
  • Wash 2 loads of Laundry
  • Put away 3 loads of Laundry
  • Stock Hubby’s Office Fridge

We’ll see what I get done today. I’m going to try and stay ahead of the weather. Happy Monday to all 🙂
