I haven’t been crafting too much, but I’m trying to catch up on ongoing projects.

I still need to finish the blanket for my nephew before Christmas.

Jinx has been enjoying all of the cozy blankets on these extra chilly days.

I’m gathering up the scraps and crocheting granny-squares here and there.

I really don’t have any big projects going on right now, or even any little ones. I’m knitting and crocheting a little here and there.

I have these little knitting patches stashed all over the house. I’m working on a knitted patchwork blanket, that requires a bunch of odd squares and rectangles.

I stitch them together when I get a pretty good stash finished.

Jinx has really started to appreciate all of the crocheted items strewn around the house. The weather is a little cold here and there, and she isn’t a fan. You’ll often find here hiding under a big pile of handmade blankets to stay warm.

I’ve been adding rows to the little blankets that my kids have outgrown. Holy moly my kids really took off over Summer, it seems like all three of them are all legs right now. It’s a quick, stash busting project that I can pick up whenever, and put down when it’s time to make dinner.

July was a pretty rough month for me in the mental health department. I really didn’t craft too very much. I focused on finishing a few projects that have been hanging out way too long at the craft nook.

Netflix and knitting has become my favorite activity during the evening. Usually Jinx takes over the knitting basket, she is one demanding little kitty.

I finally finished two blankets.

I stitched together this little quilt a few summers ago. I had no idea how to finish it off though.

I decided to crochet around the edge, and it turned out really cute. This is a twin-sized quilt without any batting. It is just too darn hot for batting during Kansas summers.

I also finally finished Agnes’ multi-hued blanket that I started over a year ago.

This blanket is also twin sized, and it seriously took me forever to get finished.

I loved the colors of this blanket. There were so many shades of apricot, berry, and lilac. I am happy that it is complete, and on Agnes’ bed.

I didn’t get too many crafts done in the month of June. I’ve been living in the kitchen pretty much around the clock.

My little knitted project is coming along. I knit a little here and there.

I’m still working on Agnes’ blanket.

I still have so many rows to go.

I finally finished Dylan’s blanket. It took me over a year to get this one done.

He was really happy with how it turned out. I love the colors of this blanket. Maybe I’ll get Agnes’ finally finished this July, or maybe August.

I didn’t seem to be crafting too much during the month of May. I hope to remedy that in June.

I got a big pile of yarn and a few books for Mother’s Day. My family knows me too well.

My knitting basket holds a project based on one of my favorite books. Yes, I am that big of a nerd.

I’m still working on Dylan’s blanket that I hoped to finish last Summer.

I really hope to have it finished soon. Every night Dylan asks me when it’s going to be done, and I always say twenty-thirty rows give-or-take.

Agnes’ blanket is still a very much work in progress. Every time I start working on this little project, Jinx runs up, and naps right away. I try and move her, and she just plops right back down on it. This one still has a good sixty rows to go, if Jinx will let me.

James got me a little surprise. I have wanted a sewing basket for all of my hand-sewing notions scattered around my bedside table. I love this basket, and I’ve finally got a home for all of those odds and ends.

Now that June is here, and school is out, I hope to craft a bit more. I have several works in progress that I really need to finish up.
