The Clean-Up

My goodness I am so tired of cleaning. James and I have been working on the Living Room this morning, and I’m tackling the tremendous mess in the kitchen and the laundry too. Here is the plan for the rest of the afternoon:

  • Go to Walgreens for: Diapers, Wipes, Dr Pepper, and Trash Bags
  • Finish the Dishes
  • I still have 6 full loads of laundry to do (I’ve already washed 3)
  • Empty the trash cans (for the 30th time)
  • Put away what we can
  • Clean the litter-box (my goodness cats what have you been eating!)

I hope to have the house close to back to normal soon 😉 But really how close to normal can it get 🙂

My House is a Mess!

I’ll have to keep things short and simple today, the house is completely trashed. Every single room is filled up with way too much stuff. I see a ton of cleaning in the immediate future, and I don’t even know where to start. I feel completely overwhelmed and completely stressed out. This is just going to be one of those days.

Tomorrow Just got Busier

Maybe I shouldn’t even attempt to get some rest tonight or tomorrow night, and Dylan is so grumpy (teething and weaning) that I don’t think that he will let me rest anyway. My throat is steadily feeling worse, and there is a lot to be done. Just in case I don’t make it on tomorrow, here is what I’ll be up to:

  • Surprise visit sometime during the day from my Mother in Law and Sister in Law
  • Take James Lunch
  • Go to Walgreens:for Gerber Puffs and Tissues
  • Vacuum the Living Room
  • Charge the Camera
  • Clean the Dining Room
  • Clean the Poker Table
  • Wipe Down Upstairs Toilet and Sink (I did a deep clean today)
  • Pre-cook 10 lbs Mashed Potatoes ( I cleaned them today)
  • Bake Cookies with Thade for Santa
  • Bake at least 3 dozen cookies for Christmas Snacks
  • Empty Upstairs Waste-baskets
  • Empty Downstairs Waste-baskets
  • Take out the trash, and bring trash cans to back yard
  • Wash the Upstairs Bathroom Rug
  • Figure out what I am making for Christmas breakfast

I’m tired all ready. Oh goodness I hope that Dylan will sleep through the night, and the ladies from How Clean is Your House will magically appear and help me out with all the cleaning 😉

Just 3 Days ?!?

This morning I woke up in a bit of a panic. There are only three days left until Christmas, and my house looks like it has been torn apart by a crafty toddler. Strange 😉 I have so much to clean and only a few days to get it done. Here is what I have left to do and clean:

  • Wrap and deliver presents to Hubby’s Work
  • Clean the Kitchen
  • Clean the Dining Room!!!!
  • Clean the Upstairs Bathroom
  • Vacuum the Living Room (I’ve given up on attempting to keep it clean as it is toy central)
  • Catch up on laundry
  • Prep and pre-cook what I can for Christmas Dinner

I’m feeling the Christmas stress for sure 😉 Better get to cleaning!

I’m off to a Late Start

It must be the Holiday stress that has gotten to me, the last few days I just haven’t been feeling too well. I had plans to wake up early and start in on the cleaning, but Dylan decided to sleep in, and so did I. It is very rare that he sleeps late, so I thought I should rest while I could. My Mom is off work today, and she is on her way up to help with the kiddos, while I clean. I’m making her yummy lunch in trade for the babysitting 😉

I’m going to try and get a jump start on cleaning the foyer while she is here, and I hope to get the kitchen in better shape too. The weather is also warming up a bit so I think I will get the pictures today too, if the roads are better. There is lots to be done, but I think lunch will have to happen first, I’m starving…
