Spring Cleaning (Again)

I know, I know I’m really behind with my Spring cleaning (thanks flu), but I’m back at it. Today I started working on the Boy’s closet, it is a great big mess. The weather is finally warming up, so it is time to get out the Spring/Summer clothes too. I grabbed the bins of Thade’s old clothes, to look for Spring clothes for Dylan, and I only found a few onesies that will fit Dylan. Thinking back to when Thade was 12 months, it was Winter, so it makes sense 😉 So Dylan will need some new Spring clothes…

Surprisingly Thade’s Spring/Summer Shorts still fit! Luckily he is almost set for Spring and Summer. I might just pick up a couple of A-shirts for him, and a pair of jammies or two.

We are planning on going for a walk to the Post Office today, the weather is nice and warm. Thade loves to go for walks, and Dylan is a fan of riding along in his stroller. It will be good for me too, I could use the fresh air and exercise 😉

The Big Box

About a week ago my hubby brought home a big box from work, and Thade claimed it as his.

But you know how it goes, you finally get your awesome box-fort just the way that you like it, and then your little brother (and sometimes the cat) wants to play too…

They boy’s and the kitty played and played with the box, and had a blast! Thade played peek-a-boo with Dylan, and our kitty played peek-a-boo with Thade on the other side of the box. There were lots and lots of giggles.

Thade wasn’t upset even when the not so light kitty jumped on top of the fort, crushing the beloved box. Thade then turned the crumbled box into a Stage and sang into a microphone, too cute. Nothing beats a great cardboard box, and a lot of imagination 😉

Party Time

We celebrated with both sides of the family on Saturday, and we all had a great time. Thade had a Soccer Game in the morning, and it was freezing outside, but everybody enjoyed the game. When we made it back home I made a little BBQ and served Snacks and more Cupcakes.

 

Dylan loved all of his gifts, and so did Thade. It was a great weekend, and a fun party too 🙂

Who Wants Cake!

We had a little party for Dylan on his birthday, and he had a blast with his birthday cake! He was a big fan of the sweet treat.  He gets one more cupcake tomorrow at the second party.  I’m still cleaning up the dining room from that one little cupcake 😉

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY DYLAN!

 

I can’t believe that Dylan is one today! My little baby is growing up all too fast. It is fun to look back at all of the baby pictures and see how much he has changed in one year.  Dylan is almost walking, and can say “Momma, Daddy, Thade, and I want it” 🙂 He loves his Big Brother, and gives him great big hugs after nap-time. Dylan is also very opinionated he shakes his head no at Mommy all too often. Dylan is also very headstrong for a little guy, and so brave, he loves a challenge too. He is so much fun, and an amazing addition to the family 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
