My son is turning 2 at the end of this month, and I’m still shocked at how the time has gone by. I am however stuck on what to do for his birthday. I have no ideas, but I am up to suggestions. Any ideas? Please let me know!

5:30 a.m. is way too early!
Yes it is true today my little one woke up at 5:30 a.m. That is way too early. He popped up and requested a diaper, and Barney. I got him back to sleep at 7:00 a.m. I decided to go back to sleep then too. I know that I should have stayed awake, and done something around the house, but I really like to sleep too.
A Quiet Moment
My little guy is actually sitting quietly for a moment, enjoying a cup of milk. He is finally starting to sleep through the night (it only took about 20 months), so I’m finally a little more rest too. I’m sitting here trying to think of all the things we need to get done today, and the Christmas card mailing list that I need to make. Still need to get that shopping done, and figure out what to make for dinner, and so on. Maybe another cup of coffee is what I really need!
Worried About The Weather!
I was up late last night, trying to get the teething toddler to calm down, and get some sleep,so I picked up a magazine and started reading all about global warming. And I worried all night about it. It concerns me because its supposed to be eighty three degrees today, and its November! Its crazy, I never thought that I would still be dressing my little one in his summer clothes in the latter parts of fall.
So it got me thinking about what I could do to help. I live in a small town in Kansas, and the town only runs a recycling program during the warmer months. But its still warm now, why not run the program all year? Trash service doesn’t pick up recycleables, and I think that they should! We need to do something now, before the weather gets any warmer!
Trick or Treating with a Tiger
Last night my husband and I took our little boy trick-or-treating, it was cold, rainy, and a lot of fun. Our son was dressed as a little tiger, and he came complete with a loud roar. We only made it a few blocks, and our little tiger was a shy tiger for most of the time, but it was fun for all! I had about 10 trick-or-treaters come and visit our home, so I still have a ton of candy left! I’m still trying my hardest to get the Christmas shopping done today, but I don’t think that it is going to happen. My lists are made, but I have a few things to do before the shopping can begin.
