This might take awhile, Dylan has the hiccups and is refusing to sit in his bouncy chair. So I’m trying to type while keeping him entertained. I have a pretty small list of things to get done today, So I’m going to try and take it easy. Last night was a really long night, and I’m so sleepy today.

It has been quite a busy year for us. On March 26Th we welcomed our second baby, a little boy named Dylan. After 12 hours of labor I had to have a c-section. I have had quite a time recovering from surgery. Things are better now, and I’m trying my hardest to get a schedule down, but its tricky.

Thade is doing great, he is three, and loves being a big brother. He tries to help out as much as possible, and he is really good at waking up his little brother. Right now he is coloring pictures of outer space, so I had better find a spot on the fridge.

I’m pretty tired and having quite a time keeping up with it all. We are working on lots of projects around the house, and I can finally paint again. I’m looking forward to getting lots done, whenever I have the time.

This morning I woke up bright and early at 5:00 a.m., which is just too early. I should have taken advantage of the extra time and accomplished a task, but no I’ve been sitting on the couch flipping through channels. I did learn something though, between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. there is nothing at all on, and the news is so depressing.

Thade is still sleeping in, and I’m trying to rally enough energy to venture outside and run to Wally-World. Maybe I’ll get there a little later this afternoon.

Just when I think that there is no way that I could possibly be more tired, Thade wakes up at 4:30 a.m. I had to change his pull-ups, and get new blankets, and after all that he wasn’t going back to sleep. James was already up and getting ready to go to work, so Thade and I headed downstairs to get some breakfast, and watch a little Barney.

I have quite an early start to my day today, and I hope I can keep up on six hours of sleep. Thade is showing no signs of being sleepy at all, but I am. I have a feeling that this is going to be a long day.

Ever since we have moved, we have been so busy. It seems like I have no time to even turn around, so I’ll try to bring everyone back up to date.

Thade is really going through the terrible twos, he has his days where he is a perfect angel, and then the days where I can’t put him down, and he cries at everything. He got a new pet turtle named Ed, who is now living in the bathroom, so Maddie(the kitty) won’t torture him.

We have been busy this week, we celebrated my Mom’s birthday, and then later on in the week, Thade and I went shopping with his Grandma, and Aunt. Thade had a great time, and got lots of new toys.

I’m still doing projects around the house, getting things organized, and paint samples on the wall. I’m getting pretty handy with my sewing machine(a mother’s day gift from my mom), so I am going to make curtains for Thade’s room, whenever I get the time.
