Yesterday was a very productive Bear day. While James was home for Lunch, I cut out all of the Girl Bears, and while Dylan took a nap, I sewed them all. This was a record for me 16 bears in 2 hours, not too bad.
Now I just need to turn them, stuff them. and sew them closed, and then we are good to go! I have a feeling these bears are going to get a lot of hugs, they are too cute.

They are so cute!
The kids will love them!
Thanks Mimi! The bears have been a fun project to make too. Now I just need to go and get some stuffing 🙂
What a busy mom you have been today! Way to go getting them all cut and sewn. I did a project like this when I was student teaching in Kindergarten. I gave them as my good-bye present. I was teaching in inner city and living with a lady and we would both hand stitch them in the evenings while watching t.v. Thanks for bringing back sweet memories.
Really like the pics of the bear cutouts. super cute, the patterns you chose!
Way to go Nico! Too, too cute! I know all will love them!
Blessings!!!
Thanks Heather! Thanks for sharing your bear story too, I bet your students loved the handmade teddy bears 🙂 It has been a fun project to do too 🙂 Now I’ve got to get all of these little bears turned 🙂
Thanks Nana! Sewing all of these bears reminds me of all of the Bunnies that you would make too. I have had a lot of fun with the Bears project, but next time I don’t think I will make quite as many 😉
Thanks Marva! I think the bears are pretty cute too, and I really hope that the preschoolers will like them too. It has been a lot of fun spending extra time at the sewing machine too 🙂
