A Dessert Filled February

On Valentine’s Day I had a fun time helping my best friend cater a Valentine’s Day Dinner. My kitchen stayed extra busy and I had a blast making the desserts too.

My kiddos have already requested the mini Chocolate Bundt Cakes again, so I’ll be making these soon.

The Sweetheart Sugar cookies were too cute. I’m in love with decorative Clear Sugar, and I can’t wait to make a big batch of cupcakes to decorate with the pretty sugar.

Shaunna came by to help dip all of the Strawberries. I can’t wait for garden fresh strawberries this Spring.I see a lot of Chocolate Ganache dipped Strawberries in my future.

I assembled the dessert plates at the Dinner site, and thank goodness all of the cookies made it there in one piece. It was so much fun getting to help out with the Dinner, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

With all of these Valentine’s goodies, I couldn’t leave my hubby out…

So I came home and whipped up a Valentine’s Day Cherry Pie, complete with little hearts and all.

  2. Yum Yum! If that doesn’t satisfy a sweet tooth, I don’t know what would. I am playing in the kitchen today trying to figure out how to decorate Corrynn’s bday cake for this weekend, so we will be eating cake for several days. I hope you are all rested up after your busy day!

  3. How did yesterday go? I hope you were pampered good! That pie looks so yummy! You did an awesome job with all of the baking and dipping.

I tried my hand at the dipped strawberries yesterday and they turned out pretty good. Thanks for the recipe!

    Have a great day! Blessings!

  4. Thanks Shaunna! The spa day was GREAT! I was super relaxed last night, and I still feel great today 🙂 Thanks again for making it happen! Sending big hugs your way 🙂

  5. Thanks Stacey! Good luck with Corrynn’s Birthday cake 🙂 I know she will love it! We still have a kitchen full of birthday cake, but Dylan and I are making a pretty good dent in the Red Velvet cake.

  6. Thanks Marva! The spa day was amazing! I had so much fun, and I feel so much better today. That is great that you gave the strawberries a try, I hope that you liked them.

  7. Thanks Vicki! You are too funny 😉 It was so much fun making all of the desserts for the Valentine’s Day dinner, but it was pretty tempting for me to eat all of those strawberries.
