I’m always trying to get my picky toddler to eat more. Today we attempted Homemade Pancakes, oh yes from scratch. I was in charge of mixing the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil, and Thade was in charge of the dry ingredients. He loves to stir! He liked seeing how the batter came together, but still a little reluctant to try the pancake. I asked him to try just one bite with Maple Syrup, and he loved it! He has even requested pancakes for breakfast tomorrow 🙂
Yay! Sometimes it’s so hard to get them to try something new. Personally, I’ve had blueberry pancakes on the brain for the last week…gonna have to pick up some blueberries today.
YAY Thade! Tell that sweet boy, good job! Glad they turned out well! Blessings on your day!
Yea! Great for you guys! It just goes to show…..sometimes when you get your kids involved they actually just might eat what they help make 🙂 Ellie
Thanks Susan! Blueberry pancakes sound amazing 🙂 Thade is a picky eater, I was really pleased that he gave the pancakes a try. Enjoy your pancakes too 😉
Thanks Marva! I was really surprised that Thade tried something new and actually liked it 🙂 I hope that he will be moving out of the picky phase soon.
Thanks Ellie! I love to have Thade help out in the kitchen, he does little tasks like stirring, and helping clean up the mess afterwards. He has been asking for pancakes all day, so it looks like they were a hit with Thade 🙂
