The snow finally stopped, and the winds picked up and made some pretty big snow drifts. School was canceled again today, and I don’t think that it will be open tomorrow either. Tonight they are calling for wind chills in the -20’s. It is going to be really cold. Here are some of my pictures from yesterday.

Dylan thought the front porch looked like an iced cupcake.

I agree the snow was extra fluffy, and the winds really made it look like frosting.

We were trying to guess just how much snow actually fell…

Care to take a guess???

According to our favorite weatherman we got 16 inches of snow.

We waited until dusk to start shoveling, the winds had finally calmed a bit.

Kudos to my hubby for getting out there in all that mess and digging us a path out.

He was so sweet, he even dug out the neighbor’s sidewalk and steps too.

It sure is pretty, but I’m ready for Spring.
Wow! That’s just crazy! Hope you are all staying safe and warm…hugs 🙂
Thanks Ellie! We have had so much snow, it is crazy! A few towns have almost 2 feet of snow. We are slowly digging out, and they have called school for tomorrow too. I wonder if they are going to cancel for Friday as well. I don’t see the roads clearing up anytime too soon.
Happy Groundhog Day! I hope you guys at least get in a snowball fight or two before it all melts. Otherwise, definitely stay in and sip on some hot cocoa and catch up on Sponge Bob and icarly! Stay warm and safe!
Thanks Mimi! I hope you and your family had a Happy Groundhog day too 🙂 I watched the movie a time or two. We have been snowed in and avoiding the outdoors, the wind chill is in the -20’s and they have closed school for Friday too. The kiddos are pretty happy about the extra vacay.
I finally caught some of the new Spongebob episodes, and you know I love some iCarly. One of my very faves (and Agnes’s too) to watch is Big Time Rush, Kendall is a little cutie.
Hope you are doing well and staying warm.
