This month is officially a no take-out month, and already there is an uproar with the kiddos. It’s cool though, I have a lot of yummy meals planned to keep us out of the drive-thru, and it is a short month after all. So here we go, it’s my monthly dinner menu plan for February.

- 2/7/2011: Pulled Pork Tacos, Bean & Cheese Quesadillas, Tortilla Chips, Cheese Dip, and Salsa
- 2/8/2011: BBQ Pork Sandwiches, Potato Chips, and Chocolate Cupcakes
- 2/9/2011: Nacho Bar
- 2/10/2011: Chili, Saltines, and Brownies
- 2/11/2011: Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Cheese Grits, and Banana Muffins
- 2/12/2011: Ham & Beans, Cornbread, and Mini Blueberry Pies
- 2/13/2011: Chicken Noodles, Mashed Potatoes, and Peach Pie
- 2/14/2011: Beef Stew, Homemade Bread, and Chocolate Cream Pie
- 2/15/2011: Salmon Cakes, Corn, and Rice
- 2/16/2011: Chicken Chow Mien, Chow Mien Noodles, Broccoli Beef Stir-fry, Rice, Sugar Dumplings, and Red Velvet Cupcakes (it’s my birthday)

Thanks Mimi! I hope the family agrees 😉 The kiddos aren’t too thrilled with the fast-food free month, but I think it will be fun. I’m trying to sneak in a few new dishes too, maybe they will like them.
Thanks Marva! I thought that February would be a good month to start with the take-out free menu. I’m trying to add in some new dishes, and work on some budget friendly dishes too. I wish the snow would let up so I could make an Aldi run 😉
Thanks Nana! I’m making extra desserts to make up for the take-out free month. We’ll see if it works. Thanks to the blizzard we can’t get out anyway, so the kiddos just have to be happy with whatever we are having for dinner 😉
