My goodness Winter has arrived and it has brought high winds and freezing temps along with it. We had a little dusting of snow over the weekend, but mostly it is just cold cold cold outside. Today though there was a really pretty sight in the early morning sky.

It’s a little faint, but if you look really close you can see it.

It’s an ice-bow. It was so pretty, and gone in a flash. I had the kiddos run to the door as fast as they could, so they could see it too. Every once in a great while you can see them, but they are usually located up high around the sun, this was the first one that I’ve seen that looks like a standard rainbow. So pretty! Beautiful way to start a chilly Monday.
Ah, that is beautiful! Cold here too! Suppose to be 13* tonight and we had flurries this am! None stuck, what a bummer!
Great moons of Neptune! I’ve lived in Minnesota all my life and I’ve never seen an ice-bow before! Keen stuff!
