We had such a fun time going shopping on Sunday, and I came home with some pretty great finds too. Our first stop was Toys R Us, I figured it would be best to get that over and done with. My mom and I braved the crowds and took the boys shopping for toys. We were searching for a Bumbo Chair for Dylan. Luckily we found one, and a tray that attaches to the seat. If you have a little one who isn’t sitting on their own just yet, this is an absolute must have. Dylan loves his new seat, and he is having a blast playing with his toys on the tray. I’m so happy with this find, it is giving mommy a little peace and quiet too.

We  went to Target to look for a few gifts. I found 2 really cute totes. One for my sister in law, and one for my brother’s girlfriend. I’m making Spa Kits for all of the girl’s this year, and the totes were too cute, and only $1.00 each. I still need to find (or make) 2 more for the Grandma’s.

We had lunch at Panera Bread, and great job Panera on your kid’s meals. Thade happily ate every bite of his grilled cheese. Nana (my mom) and I were both very impressed with the organic low-fat milk that was served instead of a sugary soda too.Thade is now a super big fan of Panera Bread 🙂

After lunch and stopping to nurse Dylan we headed over to my mom’s favorite $1.00 shop. The store was called Dollar Days, and it was jam packed with great buys. I’m a big fan of the $1.00 shops, and this one was great. It had a nice baby section, a grocery section, seasonal decorations,and just about everything that I was looking for. I found some kitchen gadgets and towels for a gift. I also picked up adorable pajama pants for Dylan, and a cute a recipe box for me. Thade had $1.00 to spend, and he purchased a golf set.

We went to the park, the weather was so nice we had to stop and play. Thade got to run off some of that extra energy too. The leaves haven’t turned yet, but the will soon.

Both of the kids did great, even with all of the stops that we made. I got most of my Christmas shopping finished for the relatives, but I still have to get a few more gifts for my hubby.  Maybe there will be another shopping trip in our future  😉
