Last weekend we went to the Good Ol’ Days…

We had a great time at the festival. We took a Trolley Ride, and it was really fun. We walked around downtown for a little bit, and stopped off to watch the Dock Dogs show.

The boy’s enjoyed a tasty Cherry Sno-Cone, and James treated us all to a yummy lunch too. I had roasted corn, too good.

I had a super yummy Giant Lemonade!

I also got really sunburned too…
Sunburn aside the Good Ol’ Days were really fun. We all agreed that the Trolley Ride was the best part though. While riding the Trolley we learned a lot about our town, and we got to hear all about the old homes and structures, many were from the 1890’s. The kids enjoyed the ride too, and it was nice and breezy on the Trolley.
We also liked that they waved the entrance fee into the Good Ol’ Days this year, I hope that this tradition will carry into the next year too. It looks like there was a great turn-out too.
It sounds like a lot of fun.I am so ready for summer break! Your sunburn looks ouchy, but your hair loos great!
Yikes, do you have aloe for the burn? Poor girl! Our small town and those near-by have fireman’s fairs right now. Really fun, just small games for kids and great food! Jake is old enough this year to understand how to play some of the kiddie games.
Thanks Mimi! We had a lot of fun, but you guessed it, that was a super ouchy sunburn. I think my nose is still a little burnt.
Thanks Heather! I hope that you and your family are having fun at the fair too. I keep a giant bottle of Aloe on hand, I tend to burn super easy, but both of the kiddos were fine 🙂
Thanks Nana! It’s a full week later, and I’m still a little burnt. The Good Ol’ Days really did a number on me this year 😉
